I had recently gotten a hernia while lifting something at work. After getting it delivered, I began wearing it the following morning. At first it felt great. I really liked the "bubble" that can be moved to put extra pressure in exactly the right spot. That felt really good. After a few days of wearing it with the bubble, it began causing a burning sensation right under the bubble. I guess it was too much pressure pushing inward on the hernia. I removed the bubble and replaced it with a twice-folded wash cloth. That seemed to work just as good and the burning sensation never returned. As far as the belt goes, it lays flat and can't be seen under my clothing so nobody even knows it is there.

It's a very good band, but I don't have a lot of waist (I'm a plus size person) So it still rolls. I have so far not found any that doesn't.

It deserves 5 star compare to other belts, but it needs more than one support slat to prevent severe curling of the sides. Otherwise it has provided me support so I can move better with a large hernia I developed after surgery. I am having 12 inches ventral hernia repair April 30th--6 hr surgery. Thanks for this belt , I have been able to tolerate it more comfortable. I will also if able to use it after surgery, as a prevention and security support. I am going to see about adding those two support side slats.

I got this belt for my husband who is on his third, yes third, umbilical hernia. He does not use the pressure pad as he found that to be uncomfortable to his hernia. The belt, though, he wears. He loves it. He was wearing a belt that was much larger top to bottom and it rolled and bunched and was just a nuisance. Plus that belt gave him very little actual support. This one does great though. Even though he is a large man, with a very pronounced belly, this works great. He's not as hot while wearing it and it stays put. This is by far the best hernia support belt he's ever had.

I bought this for my father who has important hernia and also an important belly. I ordered XXL because he is 47 inches waist. It feels comfortable and also he is wearing the pad. He is on the limit of the size, if he has more inches around his waist I think it would be to tight.He did not mention anything about rolling, that is good because he always complains about this problem with others. I recommend this product.
