I bought some vacuum bags and didn't want to mess with the hand pump, so I bought this electric one and it works really well. Sucks the air out of those bags quickly. We'll worth the price!

Had trouble borrowing vacuums from family and there being the right attachment to get air out of space saver bags. THIS!! works very well 10/10 would recommend

Overall it works okay. While the suction doesn't compare to a full vacuum it does suck enough air to reduce the size of extra fluff. I was testing my unit with a large puffer jacket in one vacuum bag I purchased from Daiso in South Korea and a couple of packing cubes(non-compressed) full of clothes in a TPU zipper-style vacuum bag. Note: I'm also testing the TPU bag for future travels.- As stated the pump sucks out the air and does pack the clothes and jacket down but it defiantly doesn't get as hard as it does when you use a full vacuum. The jacket in either bag, does take about a minute and is reasonably smaller than rolling the air out.- As for the clothes in the packing cubes, I feel like it could be denser.- Obviously, it speeds up the process and reduces the strain on the motor if you assist it by pushing and shaping the bag as you like while the air is sucked out. You will need to let it cool down if I use it too long or often.- I bought this in case I stay somewhere without a vacuum so it should work for my needs as long as I don't burn out the pump.

This is now a staple in my luggage. I just get the dollar store space bags. I place the bag in the suitcase, fill it with clothes (or whatever else), then suck the air out while pressing the clothes down with my hand to fill in all the open spaces in my luggage. There isn't an inch that goes unused. The vacuum goes right in with my stuff so I can pack for coming back home. It has good suction for its size. It's not going to feel like a full size vacuum, but it's DEFINITELY strong enough to get the job done quickly. This was the best price I could find at the time of ordering, and it's absolutely worth the $11.

I bought this pump by itself to use with vacuum seal bags from another brand. The suction power is not strong enough and barely works with my bag. Would not recommend.

So I ordered with the idea of not have to lug the vacuum cleaner out for quick zipping of bags. I store our blanket, quilts and pillows in shrink storage bags to save on space.This works but do NOT expect it to be like using the vacuum to really shrink it down. I did several tests using a variety of shrink bag brands and the results were just ok and did the same with the vacuum. They shrink but no way does this compare to using the vacuum and for that I took off 2 stars. I don't even know if this good for travel either, its makes a lot of noise but doesnt have a lot of suction power.

Pump works really well for large compression bags. it was definitely worth the money.
