Definitly worth buying, great quality !
Didn’t expect it to ship as fast as it did, but it arrived just in time for my big road trip along the coast and up to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. Absolutely love this tent! It comes with a collapsible ladder, interior LED light strip, foam mattress, insulation, two shoe pouches, and even roof rails so you can mount bikes, surfboards, or other gear on top. I drive a Ford F150 and my truck bed is 5.5ft. The tent does hang over since its a little longer but if I put down my tailgate it become flush with the tent. If that helps get an idea of the over hang, it doesnt bug me much but that could be a issue for some folks. 6-6.5 ft truck bed would be the best fit with no overhang unless you have room to push the tent over the cab. Other than that, I’ve been using this tent every time I go camping and haven’t experienced any major issues with it. There’s some occasional wind noise, but that’s to be expected. Just reposition your SUV or truck so that the hard shell (when popped up) takes most of the wind instead of the soft fabric that makes a big difference. Oh and the best part? I didn’t have to spend $2K to get something that looks and feels this high-quality. Totally worth it!

Excellent Value on a Rooftop Tent
I've been using this tent for the entire spring/summer season and it's worked flawlessly. I'm really surprised at how well this works, just out of the box. Super easy set up, and the mattress is plenty comfortable. The little touches, like the shoe bags and the LED light strip are really good. I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay $3K for a similar tent from a name brand. I've installed it on top of my small trailer and it provides an extra upstair bedroom. Love it. Small thing, the top platform is plastic and the bottom of the tent is aluminum. So not sure how it would do if you stored it outside for years. I store mine in the garage on a hoist.

Exceeded expectations, awesome rooftop tent for great price
Just had this shipped to me about two weeks ago and finally had a chance to take it out. Install was super super easy, had some help lifting it onto my car but otherwise was super straightforward. I had read the reviews about the bolts being too short for mounting, which I agree with, but I just went down to my local hardware store and got 1/2 inch longer ones. They’re super common carriage bolts so was easy. Even though the original bolts are metric the closest match I found still fit in the brackets. My first trip out using the tent it rained all night long, no water inside the tent. Super sturdy and stayed pretty warm. Loved the little built in light strip too. Mattress is a full size mattress, so ended up just getting a full fitted sheet and used a queen size duvet that works perfect. It does whistle a little on the freeway but honestly nothing horrible. Overall super pleased, and would absolutely recommend.

Great tent with a few minor flaws
Overall I love this tent. I used it for a week in Utah, moving camp every day. Setup is easy. Struts are strong and easily lift the lid. Fabric is durable and stood up to abuse and winds. No water leaks, no dust intrusion. Large vent at the top so zero condensation issues with one person and 30deg nights. When doors and windows are closed up ZERO light is getting inside the tent. The LED light inside was bright enough, but not blinding. I found the mattress to be comfortable enough. Could it be improved? Yes, but at 190lbs I was not tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. Breaking down the tent can be difficult. The gas struts are strong and it takes quite a bit of effort to pull the lid closed. The seams around the side doors are a little stiff and cause the fabric to fold outwards and get caught in the seal, and inconveniently right behind the strut where its most difficult to reach. Additionally, the lower rain flap is just long enough to also get stuck in the seal. It takes quite a few attempts at pushing and pulling all the fabric to get everything tucked inside. The poles for the rain fly are not designed to fit around an awning, so if you have an awning you'll either need to mount it lower than the tent or find different poles. I was lucky and swapped one pole with a friend who's tent came with 4 awning accepting poles. I did not use the shoe bags as most of them are not waterproof, so I cant speak for those. Funny note: the ladder instructions tell you not to get the ladder wet. Kind of silly for something that sits outside in the elements. All things considered this is a great tent for the money.

Good quality tent
Took a couple weeks longer than expected to ship but it arrived in good condition. The tent has a decent profile which sits about 7' on my Tacoma with a 3" lift on 33" tires. The mounting bolt were too short for my bed rack so I had to buy bolts with were an inch longer. The interior was very nice with liners and pouches on the ceiling and an led strip which plugs into a USB port. The ladder comes with a pouch, 2 shoe bags were included, and there is a roof rack kit that bolts to the top of the tent rails. The c channel rail around the top and bottom of the tent makes it convenient to bolt on other accessories with just a square nut and screw. The only complaint I have would be with how the sides of the tent near the front don't really tuck in when closing the clam shell. If not careful, it actually folds down and seats between the weatherstrip seal. Otherwise, this tent was very close to what I was looking for. It does weigh about 170 lbs, which is a bit on the heavy side and can be a bit hard to lift onto a raised vehicle.
