They are great cards and the price is very good. The design of the back is textured and kind of holographic. The graphic design of each card is very good and crisp. As other reviewers have said, they are super slippery but I think that will get better with use.

I'll admit, I've recently bought several new decks of tarot cards! There were so many that caught my eye and I just couldn't decide. This is one of my new favorites...the golden back sides are so shiny and sparkly. And the colors of the major and minor arcana images are stunning! Purples, blues, greens, oranges...all so rich and vivid! The foil back drops shimmer, almost adding movement when you turn the cards from side to side. The artwork is sharp and crisp - the images just pop off the cards and I love them!Because they are made of a thin plastic material, the cards shuffle soooo smoothly. But that also makes them a little slippery when you're taking them out of the box or placing the deck on the table. If you're used to handling paper/cardstock cards, it'll take a little getting used to. But they do feel good in your hands once you acclimate to them.The rigid cardboard box has a magnetic closure and is nice for storage and display. For the price ($12.60 when I bought them), these cards are a great value!! Beautiful to own yourself or give as a gift.

Beautiful cards, very shiny and make that nice fwoop fwoop noise, are pretty slippery though and can be hard to hold and managed to drop half of the deck into the dog water bowl. Good news is they’re 100% water proof!

Beautiful gold foiled cards with intricate designs

The colors are really rich- better than my camera shows. They are slick, but if you remember to hold them right you can shuffle and manage them fine. They came well- packaged and undamaged, with a little booklet containing basic suggestions for interpretation and a Celtic cross layout, as well as a nice little box with magnetic closure. One strange thing, the box they came in contained a number of other items I had ordered thru Amazon as well. When the ups driver handed it to me it was already open. All my items were there and undamaged, but they were all covered with and permeated with a grainy white substance which was very fine and really clung to everything. The substance was also inside this tarot box. So that was strange..but I love the cards!

Do not buy these cards or any other "water proof" cards unless you have nothing better to do than chase cards that fly all over the place and do not value your hard earned money. These cards are impossible to shuffle without half of the deck ending up on the floor. If you need "water proof" cards you should probably wait until you are not engaging in an activity that may cause you to spill fluids on your cards to do a reading. These cards are worthless and will not even stay on the table without sliding all over the place. These cards and any "water proof" cards are a complete waste of money. Steer clear of these cards.
