Meinl Cymbals HCS Crash Cymbal 16 inch (Video) for Drum Set (40,64cm) Traditional Finish Brass, Made in Germany (HCS16C)

Purchased this cymbal after listening on youtube and i am very impressed. For the price this is a very good cymbal, nice sounding crash cymbal, bright without being too harsh.

I have other Meinl products, but there's something wrong with this cymbal. It sounds out of tune with itself, and definitely out of tune / tone / texture with all of the rest of my kit.

Very sturdy and sound great

I run a rehearsal studio and bit by bit these cymbals have replace the cymbals on the kits. People have cracked our Zildjens, Paistes, Solar and others but for whatever reason, no-one has cracked these (yet!). They make the right noise. Fine for live, wouldn't use them in a recording session personally but we do have really good sets for that side of things.

Seems to be be very solid and good for the price. It is however a bit dull sounding for a crash cymbal and needs quite a hard hit to get the best out of it. Recommend for beginners who want nice looking cymbal at a low price.

I needed a reasonably cheap but ok enough extra cymbal and decided on the Meinl HCS 16 inch Crash.The sound could have been a bit warmer and more sustained but again, for the money you get a good deal.

Great sound for such an affordable cymbal, quite warm and great as back-up/secondary crash.

Son been using these for about a month now...they sound really good..I feel the price was right...very happy I bought these. Son also told me these cymbals sound better then the ones that are used at his high school

Vi una reseña antes de comprarlo de una persona quejándose porque recibió un platillo que según había sido fabricado al revés. Pues a mi me llego igual y no es que este fabricado al revés, sino que por un mal manejo llego pandeado al lado contrario, es decir, invertido. Sospecho de un mal manejo en el almacén y no por la paquetería, ya que junto con este platillo me llego un ride Zildjian y este llegó en perfecto estado. En fin, afortunadamente el platillo es de una muy buena construcción y pude devolverlo a su forma original gracias a una técnica milenaria (Lo puse en mi cama volteado hacia abajo y le di un fuerte sentón jaja). El platillo regreso a su forma original sin daño alguno. En fin, sonoramente es una verdadera maravilla este platillo, eso si, tiene un ataque grueso (parecido levemente a un gong) que es muy sutil pero a la hora de grabar puede ser un poco molesto, nada que un par de horas de ecualización no arreglen. Lo recomendaría mas para sesiones en vivo y practicas.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche se economico ha un bel suono e dotato di grande robustezza, consiglio l'acquisto.
