Great headlights. Indicator and running light ring is a great function, and the main reason I purchased these headlights while I upgraded my 1969 Austin Healey Sprite (MG Midget) to LED lighting. Some minor modifications to make to the original mounting dishes. The shape of these means the lens sits slightly proud compared to a typical headlamp, However that means the indicator rings can be seen from the side. Very simple, clean look when off. Wired in without any resistors. Works great. Very bright, even the running light rings.

These will fit in a 97 miata but you will need to be careful and creative on wire routing. There are many pinch points on the pop up lights But the install is quick and easy (plug and play for low-high beam) turn signal and DRL harness is right underneath the assembly making wire running easy Have not test at night time but the lights certainly throw a lot more than the stock headlights with a very crisp high point cut off. Not sure how I feel about the Z-pattern yet but for the price I can’t complain at all Units feel heavy and well constructed and come without a scratch ** stocks Miata’s will like scratch the lense if the rubber/plastic piece is not trimmed or removed
