Let me just say this line is made for people with relaxed hair because when I was relaxed and used these products they worked well.Now that I am without a chemical relaxer for 7 years now these products don't like my hair as much. The shampoo dried my hair out horribly, the leave in dried it out also. the cream was ok for my edges but putting it throughout my hair was a disaster, my hair was dry and looked as if I stuck my finger in a socket. Now I am not saying these are bad products they just don't work for natural hair. I tried watching the DVD to see how Shima applies the products but again she is a relaxed haired girl so leaving the shampoo on my strands for 5 min etc...... was a no no. The oil was the only product that worked ok on my hair. I have Shima's scarves which I love to wear. Again lesson to be learned is that every product on the market is not made for everyone. Relaxed hair has different requirements for it than Natural hair so use accordingly.

I wanted to wait until I had used the product more than once before I reviewed it. So my hair has a natural wave that was very noticeable after using this product. My waves were manageable and soft and LOOKED healthy. The edge creme gave my hair a manageable and soft edges that with my hair type almost looked like a fresh perm. I got my ends clipped before I started this product and my ends are doing fine and healthy. I got a perm about a month before I tried this and my hair is thicker with some new growth but still more manageable than before this product. So why did I give it 4 stars? Because the shampoo for MY hair (your hair may be different) didn't get my scalp as clean as I would like it. To solve that problem I went old school. I put some red cider vinegar in a spray bottle and after washing I sprayed my scalp with the vinegar, massaged for a few minutes and rinsed. My scalp and hair felt amazing. Also, on the subject of scalp I had add a very light hair grease to my scalp because it was dry and needed some moisture on it (your scalp is skin and your skin needs moisture) and she doesn't offer things just for the scalp. So that's my review. I hope it helps. I will definitely be buying more of this for my hair and my daughter's hair.

I purchased the Shima Hair Full Line Special, and it does exactly what she says. I have waist length hair, and in the past I've had some trouble with breakage. I looked at the dvd that comes with this package, and she showed step-by-step what to do in order to acheive healthy luxurious hair. I used it for the first time 2 days ago, and I see a huge difference in my hair. It combed very easily in the shower, and it is far more managable, and there is only a tiny amount of breakage compared to the amount that I use to have. My hair feels a lot stronger than before. I love this woman, she is a wonderful person for sharing her beauty secrets with the world. She could have kept her secret to herself, but she shares it with all women of color. God Bless Shima! I am glad to be a Shima girl.

This product is AMAZING! It truly does what it is set out to accomplished. My hair has grown out a lot. I love it:)
