I would recommend this book as an introduction to the use of hypnosis within the medical arena. I am studying clinical hypnosis as a post graduate qualification and found this book both easy to read and specific enough to be of academic and practical use. I would recommend it to anyone in the medical or dental professions or those studying hypnosis, although I would also consider it easily accessible to anyone who has an interest in hypnosis and would like to learn a little about how it works and its practical use within medicine.
