It was easier than I thought
I was quite nervous about doing my own cable railing, but I bit the bullet and ordered all Senmit stuff: the lag screws, turnbuckles, wire, sleeves, cutter, and hydraulic tool. Turns out the cable railing was the easiest part of the whole fence project. All I had to do was drill holes, screw in the ends, string the cables, and crimp. Cutting the wire was easy (I'd feared the wire end might fray out after cutting, but it stays perfectly tight). Crimping was really easy (use the #4 piece in the tool). My fence was nine wires, in three sections, so 27 strings. I think installing the wire took maybe three hours. I've gotten lots of complimentary comments from the neighbors. Don't be afraid - just go for it!

Well Made
These are very easy to use. Work well and look great. I used a cordless drill to drive them into a pre-drilled hole. You'll never get the holes exactly straight, so once they're all in and assembled you just have to bend a little to make them line up. Then run your cable and tighten it up.
