Q: How many seasons could I expect this cover to last ....?

The cover will degrade over time from the uV rays it is keeping off your vehicle. I use mine all year round and have had 3 covers in 15 years, some last longer than others, but it's an average of 5 years. The cover does not complexly eliminate uV, as a bike cover left on the bike rack in full sun, has faded slightly through the vehicle cover, but it does help to protect the vehicle itself. The latest cover has lasted well over the 5 years, but the surface is now showing signs of degrading. One cover had to be replaced early when the zips failed, so I now keep the zips regularly lubricated with a lube stick, which is probably why this latest cover has lasted longer. My biggest problem is with the local cats, who use the cover like a piece of furniture to sharpen their claws, left alone they would completely shred the cover. I have to use scaring devices, plastic spike mats and cat powder to try and keep them off, but damage still happens. I think that there is a security aspect, as it hides the vehicle contents and lockers from casual gaze, obviously it is not secure as it's only fabric, but it just makes it a bit more difficult for the opportunistic thief. Either way I have been have been very pleased with the covers that I have used.

Hi the straps do pass under the van and are easy to deal with sorry not sure regarding the access

Q: I assume with the cover over the solar panel the batteries will not be charged!!

Yes, I have just mounted a small 20w mobile unit onto of the top of the cover and run cable through the door to the controller then clips to the battery. Ensure the panel is secure tho.

Q: Would the 6.5 - 7 m cover fit my swift voyager 695 el ? Coco

Our Swift is 2.45m wide and just under7m long and it fits ours with a bike rack and bikes on the back. Hope this helps.
