This is a silver plated pewter pendant of a smiling / laughing Buddha measuring 1" long by 1" wide. The pendant comes on a ball chain necklace. "Buddha" means "Awakened One" or "Enlightened One". Once a prince, Buddha chose to give up his material wealth in search of truth, peace and virtue. He promoted a life of non-violence and living harmoniously with nature. Pendant is great. Well crafted. The only reason not 5 stars is the ball chain that came with it was cheap plated and I had to replace with stainless steel
