Very good unit
Very good motor for the money. I bought the quick release adapter and makes it very easy to take off. It has good power on my 16.5' Sylvan. The only complaint is that the left/right movements often move too much (meaning the micro adjustments to stay on course move too much).Overall great buy. I recommend when working with a smaller budget.

Easy to install and Motor issue remedied
I purchased the motor and found it very easy to install and it worked well. My particular motor had an issue but the company was quick to send a replacement part and they remedied the issue to my full satisfaction.

Works very well and good mount
Works very well and uses very little battery power . Have this mounted on a 20.5 foot pontoon boat and powers it without any problems .

Not worth the price
Nice except for the remote doesn’t always work making it incovenient. Wasn’t worth the price I paid

Best pontoon trolling motor
Fantastic motor. Moves our boat effortlessly and quietly. Installation can be a problem. I suggest that you lower the unit into the water and mark where you drill holes. A small protrusion on the boat can prevent deployment

Not sure why this wouldn't be a five star, especially for the money.
The only problem I had with this motor was it was sent to California based on the tracking number, but when I told the company about the problem they took care of it right away. They said I was given the wrong tracking number and it showed up two days later. Great thrust, quiet, easy to use. Can't go wrong expect I should, and may still order the foot controller. You're trying to fish and use the remote at times and it gets annoying. Next time I won't be so cheap, it's not that much more.
