Q: I purchased this before when it was fine sand, I see complaints that its more chunky now but description says liquid form, which is it?

It is more chunky than I like ,I'll dump it onto a piece of plywood with a border around it and then take a brick and smash it and grind it down to a smaller size

Q: I have avocados I am trying to grow and was told they like sandy soil. Would this be a good option for avocados?

This is used more for a mineral supplementation in my citrus trees. They grow well (same soil requirements as avocados) in an equal mix of coir, regular gritty sand and coarse perlite.

Q: Is this the same green sand you use for in a iron removal filter for your home?

I really couldn't say. I do know this green sand is an ideal garden soil amendment.
