TriboTEX and Seafoam are different types treatments. Seafoam is aimed at cleaning carbon deposits off your engine and is mostly alcohol. TriboTEX builds a protective and wear reversing diamond-like carbon coating on the moving parts in your engine, extending its life and improving its performance. The synthetic nanomaterial in TriboTEX was designed and tested with grants from the National Science Foundation and NASA. It is a highly complex technology and the only thing of its kind on the market. Using TriboTEX can also pay for itself in the potential fuel savings you will see over 40,000 miles of driving, which is our recommended treatment interval.

Q: how often does this need to be added?

Every 40,000 Miles Put it in right after your next oil change. It bonds to engine parts and survives next oil changes up to 40k. It reduced my engine noise in my 1990 Landcruiser with 220k Miles

Q: Can you use this on a motorcycle with a wet clutch?

Yes you can use it in motorcycle it will not affect wet clutch. You will need about half of this syringe ~ 10 ml or get Small engine edition which is smaller volume sized for motorcycle and easier to apply to the smaller oil filler hole in motorcycles.

Q: Can you use this on a new 2018 car?

On a new car you need the engine to break in. I would stick to whatever the factory recommends to use for at least 10-15 thousand miles.
