Great standing desk! Purchased after seeing a coworker with one!
Very happy with my standing desk. For years, I have been sitting all day at work, 8-9 hours a day and would have back pain from the constant compression on my spine from sitting. This desk gives me the option to do either! I had looked into the Varidesk brand, but just could not bring myself to spend the money on them. I really didn't need to, this desk works great. It came fully assembled (very quickly I might add). It is big enough to fit my two 24 inch monitors. They over hang the sides just a little, but since they are large, I expected that. The only thing that could have been better is the keyboard tray size. It works, but it's a little crammed with a full sized keyboard and mouse. My wrist rest and mouse pad rest are a little crammed, and the way my desk is set up it doesn't allow me to use my mouse on my actual desk because the standing desk legs are in the way, but it works. A minor flaw for me :) It just took a little bit to get used to. But, the quality of the desk is great. It's very sturdy, even leaning on it while I'm standing sometimes. A friend of mine at work also purchased this desk. I saw her standing at it one day and decided to get one myself. She purchased hers for $223, so there may be sales on this, I got it at $243. All in all, definitely worth the money! My back is feeling better already!

Very happy with this desk
I did a lot of online searching for a good standing desk as I've been reading more and more about the benefits of standing vs. sitting. I work from home and while my employer provides most of my work equipment, I had to purchase this on my own dime. Like others, I looked closely at the Varidesk, but it was nearly double the cost and after reading so many positive reviews here on this Standing DeskRiser by House of Trade, I decided to give it a try. It arrived at 11:35am yesterday and I had a client web training session at 12:00. So I asked myself, "Dare I attempt to set it up in time for my webinar? Why yes...I think I will." And I did and it worked great. No assembly required. It's a bit heavy and cumbersome to move around, but once I got it positioned where I wanted it on my desk, all I had to do was put my dual monitors on the top riser and wireless keyboard and mouse on the lower tray, which easily slides out. It seems very sturdy and well put together. Also, the top riser had enough room not only for my dual monitor setup, but for my notes and a large textbook. Some mentioned the difficulty with raising it. My dual monitor is attached to a stand, which in itself is quite heavy, so it did take a bit of effort to raise it at first, but nothing too difficult. And lowering it is very easy when I'm ready to sit down for a bit. I like that when I squeeze the handles to lower it, the top riser doesn't plummet down immediately. All I had to do was push down a bit and it gently lowered. So I've had no concerns about my monitors toppling off the top while I'm raising or lowering it.The only minor "con" I have so far is the width of the keyboard tray. My keyboard and mouse fit, but the mouse pad curls up a bit and I don't have as much mouse room as I'm used to. But this is not a dealbreaker for me and I I found a thinner mousepad which works fine, so I think that will be something I can get used to. I don't think there's any way they could have made the keyboard tray wider without making the entire thing wider. It's already pretty large and takes up a fair portion of my big executive desk, so I wouldn't want it to be any bigger.

I love it!
It arrived completely assembled so it took me longer to clear my desk than it took me to set it up. My desk is 29" high/tall and with the desk riser at the highest position puts my monitors at the perfect eye level for me (I'm 5'5"). I have an "L" desk so I wanted to set it up like the picture (posted by a previous customer review )but my desk is not deep enough so if you have the same vision take some measurements first.I feels so much better since I'm not forced to sit all day and I have the option to sit or stand. It take only a few seconds to go from one to the other.I definitely recommend an anti-fatigue mat if you are not standing on carpet. Oh ITS SUPER STURDY! My monitors do not wobble during movement. I was able to purchase when the price was down to $209. It's well worth every penny!

I like it better than Varidesk
Last April, I had extra money to spend in my budget at work so I bought my staff and myself a Varidesk. However, the Varidesk didn’t work for me because it was just too big and bulky and I simply didn’t like how it was taking over my desk. So I sent it back to find something smaller and I bought this height adjustable desk and I really like it! It’s pretty sturdy, and I think the quality is commensurate to the price. Yes, the Varidesk is probably better material, but I’m not looking for a Rolls Royce in an adjustable desk. I just wanted a much smaller, sturdy, decent looking, easy to operate adjustable desk and this fits the bill. I took off a star because I wish it came in more colors than just Black and White. I’ve had it almost a year and its still working just fine.
