Cheap and Cheerful
I mainly got these to go with the cassette player I bought, they much pretty well. They're cheap so don't expect it to be amazing, but they do the job.

Very comfortable ear phone. Received quickly.

Cheap and nasty
Bought these as backup for my original Walkman heads. Headband is industrial, wiring miniscule, sound quality about 10 percent of my 30 year old originals.

Nostalgic
Not the most comfortable to wear, or the best sound quality, but they're exactly like the old ones from bygone days. Very nostalgic. Love using them.

Worth considering if you must have 3.5mm wired phones
I suppose the first question to answer is simply, why would you buy these headphones? Well I suppose the are cheap enough and wired to work with devices that are equipped with an 3.5mm audio output socket. I guess if you do not have Bluetooth then they are not a bad option. I would say that some similarly priced Bluetooth wireless headphones that I have tested will sound better and are not open backed. These are quite quiet but there is the hiss associated with using this type of headphone that could affect people near by. So how do they sound. Well perhaps on the plus side they will go ear damagingly loud before the distortion kicks in but I guess that depends on your point of view. The orange foam pads do not do them any favours and they definitely sound better with the pads removed. With the pads the sound is muffled and closed in and it is more open with them removed. The bass does not extend that far but it is well controlled, if not completely accurate. There is a similar roll off in the upper treble. Mid range is generally good and they present a soundstage of sorts. I have heard much worse than this and would give the sound 3-4 stars. They are probably an improvement over bundled headphones but that is rather a sweeping generalisation because some bundled headphones are very good. They are not the most comfortable headphones, particularly if one removes the pads. The head slide is adjustable and with a bit of trial and error I was able to achieve a better, more comfortable fit. The price is probably fair for what you get. Bizarrely they are more comfortable the wrong way round but if one puts L to right ear and R to left ear that is going to mess with the stereo effect. I suppose I go back to why would you need to buy these headphones. However, if this type of headphones is what you need, you could certainly do a lot worse. Otherwise I would recommend looking elsewhere. In absolute terms they are worth the money and sound okay. My verdict would be 3.5 stars but in this case I rounded down.
