Easy to use
I wanted a microwave of a good size and easy to use and this is both , it also has an excellent fan system so condensation isn’t a problem after use .I thought it was good value for money compared to others of a smaller size .

A good value machine
What I like:It's nice looking.Cooks evenly.Loud beep.Powerful fan expelling moisture (so reduces buildup of condensation internally), but that means you certainly know when it is on.It has 5s time steps (my previous Panasonic had 10s steps).Easy to clean (ceramic interior finish).I like the fact they the interior has a five year warranty - they must have faith that it won't rust like most do.Bright display.Has power saving feature (but manual). Not quite so good:Power saving should be automatic - it should shut off power after a short time. You pull the door to open rather than press a button, and it's quite noisy closing.I didn't experience an issue with the door being stiff to open as some reporte. The internal light is okay when the door is open, but I wish manufacturers would put a light on both side. With the door closed, it's almost impossible to see inside unless you turn all the room lights off (and close the blinds!) - as many report. I fail to understand why it was not designed to make it possible to clearly see what's cooking - useful if you want to ensure your coffee or porridge doesn't boil over! The wire mesh needs to be their to reflect the 3cm microwaves back into the oven and let none out but other manufacturers have managed to do this and have good visible light transparency too.The light comes out of the back of the unit (so more could have been done to channel all the light into the cavity!)This 'defect' is mentioned in many reviews (not just Amazon), but I will live with it - the advantages outweigh this disadvantage.I was going to include a picture showing the view inside with the door closed to show how difficult it was to see the contents but bizarley with a phone camera you can see quite clearly into the machine!!!The fan could stay on a bit longer to reduce condensation buildup when you don't remove the contents straight away (minor point).Overall, a very good microwave and I have no regrets buying it. I certainly do recommend it.Time will tell (of course) how long it will last, but generally Samsung products are well made.

Good functional microwave which looks good too... but is it style over substance?
I purchased this microwave to replace the only previous one I have owned that lasted around 24 years from Panasonic. It still worked although the door/latch had started to stick and did look very dated. I decided it was time for a new model.I did consider many machines and read many reviews but this one stood out as was relatively feature rich, the ideal size I was looking for, looked good and was a good price.I do have a couple of minor irritations which are mentioned in other reviews but did not deter my from purchasing although is the reason why I knocked one star off...1) The user manual included in the box is going some to be called a manual. It barely covers the basics and generally is of little use. Some of the buttons are not self explanatory and do need instructions on what they are and indeed how they are used. The poor manual is easily remedied by visiting the Samsung website and downloading the full version which in my opinion should have been included in the box. I agree that potentially most users will discard the manual at the bottom of a drawer never to be seen again once they have become familiar with the controls but still, not including this in the box is a poor service to the customer.2) Secondly... the blacked out door. While I appreciate that one of the selling points is the pleasing aesthetics, the door is blacked out and almost opaque to the extent that even in a darkened room and with the internal light shining whilst the machine is in operation it is only possible to make out a very vague outline of the contents. If cooking a liquid... soup, porridge etc. you would never be able to see if it was boiling over without opening the door. I believe the light is there purely to light up the inside when the door is opened so you can then see the contents... it offers little use whilst the machine is in operation. All that said... it fits in the space I needed it to, has good internal dimensions, looks good, works well and is a good price. I am generally happy with my purchase and based on my requirements I saw no other model out there that I felt was more suited than this one.

Amazing microwave
This is the best microwave I have ever used, it's huge inside, easy to clean, it has preprogrammed buttons for cooking different things, a physical dial to change time, and multiple heat levels. It's very advanced but easy to use, and I think it is probably smarter than I am.Overall it is a great product, and I definitely recommend it

Simple to use Practical and Good Looking Microwave
We bought this model microwave in 2013. Has served us very well in that time. A couple of weeks ago, something went wrong and when you closed the door, the power would start up. Could only stop it by unplugging. Probably a simple fault, but I don't have the knowledge to repair it. So looked for a replacement. After scouring reviews sites, including Which! magazine, this model popped up again. It's still a Which! Best Buy. At £100 it's a bargain. So we bought the same model again and am very happy that we did. We don't multi cook in it, we have an Ninja AirFryer for most cooking. But this is great at giving a couple of button presses - 30 seconds each, to warm up a cup of coffee or heat up some chilled indian. Which is all we need it for. It's still one of the cleanest best looking microwaves out there. Not too many confusing buttons or clutter. Yes, the glass is dark, but seriously if you're staring into the glass to watch your food cook - ask yourself why you are doing that! Simply no need.
