I have always loved the water but never learned how to swim because I can't stand water in my ears. Water in my ears was literally a deal breaker! I tried these on my first day of swim class and I could actually put my entire head underwater - ears and all! I'm really very happy with these. I have other pairs so I don't use these every time but they have held up so far.Regarding the sound, I was able to hear the instructor quite clearly so that worked also.

I tried 5 or 6 types of earplugs until now but everytime i had water in my ear. But these make the difference. Oh, and you can hear normal like nothing is in your ear. These are perfect!

These are not soft but are hard plastic. My ears hurt after only a few minutes. Also, I cannot see how they are watertight in any way.

My daughter gets swimmers ear so we need to use ear plugs. She also has hearing loss, so having ear plugs that allow sound through is a MUST. Otherwise, she cannot hear anything. These do let sound through but unfortunately they let water in as well. We tried the different sizes they included but none of them did the trick. We’ll have to trash them unfortunately.

I’ve ordered these ear plugs twice because the first pair was lost by me. They are really good. At first, you get freaked out because usually when the sound goes away, that means there correctly in with normal ear plugs. These bad boys were hard to get used to, but I’m glad I did. I’m able to hear people when they’re talking to me when I’m swimming. It’s so freeing. There a little bit more rough rubber so more than 3 hours during the water fun, it makes the inner ear sore. But it’s not like a horrible pain. It’s worth the bb pain to hear.

They works.. You can still hear sounds even when it's wet. A little difficult to get it into your ear though, unless your ear canal is of perfect fit.

My wife needs something like this to keep water out of her ears when in the shower. We tried a few others but they did not work well. This works great. I wanted to give it a little time before I placed my review and now felt it was time. Hope this review helps with your purchase. GrandpaJake

This product not only doesn't work, but it genuinely hurts. The silicone is sharp and scratchy. I thought because I felt pressure that they would keep the water out while showering...that was not the case. These are painful and rather useless. Would not recommend.
