Fluid contaminants, grease and other substances should always be kept clear of the friction surfaces for optimal performance.Fit the pads with the friction surface facing the disc. When replacing the pads make sure that there is free movement on the calipers. Inspect your brake discs regularly and replace them when there is 2mm of friction material left on the backing plate.Worn discs can cause a severe reduction or loss in braking performance.
