Colombian Decaf Whole Bean 100% Arabica Coffee A great tasting coffee without the caffeine, our Colombian decaf coffee beans have a medium body and a chocolaty, smooth finish. We use a Swiss water process (SWP) that is chemical-free, and produces beans that are 99.9% caffeine-free. Single origin, naturally decaffeinated coffee, from Colombia's Antioquia Department. These beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process which is chemical free, doesn't detract from the flavor profile and results in beans that are 99.9% caffeine free. A medium roast coffee with rich acidity. It's milk chocolate profile is highlighted with notes of honey and almonds. Overall this coffee has a medium body with a sweet finish. This coffee is entirely shade grown on the San Pasqual Farm, only 25% of the 120 hectare farm is devoted to coffee, making this variety a rare commodity. Once harvested, the beans are processed in the traditional method, otherwise known as the dry or natural method. In this process the coffee cherry is left on the bean to dry in the sun, during that time the fruit imparts its flavor profile into the bean.
