I honestly like this company a lot and they make a lot of great supplements but my issue is this is a very high dosage for a person? I thought I was crazy so I did the recommended two pills a day and I had an upset stomach and I felt dizzy. The value is not bad but the usage of this could have effectiveness of your function at daily tasks honestly. They are easy to swallow and but not worth to put in my body.

To be honest, I’m afraid to try it again. Before I ingesting any, I did a bit of research: seems the dosage recommended on the label (two 200mg tablets = 400mg) is considered a pretty darn high dose. So, I took just one tablet which is still a lot (if the tablets had been scored for easy cutting, I’d have taken just a half of one). Anyway… I soon felt quite wired, much as if I’d drunken too much Celebes Kalossi (a kind of coffee that hits me a lot harder than most). Not long after I developed a rather nasty headache. My usual response would be to take some aspirin and sleep it off, but I was too wired to sleep. And the aspirin didn’t help. Huperzine A has a half-life of ~12 hours (meaning, 12 hours later, half the dose you took is still in your blood, 24 hours = one quarter, &c.)—in comparison, caffeine is ~6.
