MIDNIGHT BLUE ZIP UP HOODED VELOUR SHLOMPER KAFTAN

Love it for cold mornings and chilly evenings. It's not a fleece so don't expect it to replace all other garments, it's a kaftan type dressing gown in soft velvet type material that is well cut for a straight shape ( that hides lumps and bumps) . Not too mumsie.Mine is the dark blue colour, just what I wanted. Good depth of colour and tone . The top of the zip is an S shape ( the maker is Schlomper). Good full length without tripping me up, but I am 5' 2" . Washes and dries very well

I am very happy with my purchase. I have recently lost weight ,from a size 20 to a size 16 I ordered a size large as I wanted somethingcomfortable and cosy to change into in the evening also to wear on rainy days when I don't feel like getting dressed but can still look smart enough to welcome any callers . The zip front is so much better than a belt and the length is to my ankles just what I wanted,I am 5ft 6ins. I will probably order another one in another colour to get me through the long winter.I would recommend this garment

This Kaftan is SO comfy, soft and very flattering. I love it! The fit is perfect, I'm a size 8-10 so I bought the small and it couldn't be better.As to length, well I am only a shortie at 4' 11" so it's long on me, but as the zip doesn't reach my ankles, it will be easy to shorten it to fit me, so no worries there. I am so happy with my Midnight Blue purchase that I have just ordered 2 more colour's. At last I've found something to lounge in that isn't a frumpy dressing gown.

Wow. This robe is everything I wanted - zipper front, side pockets, hood, luxurious and cuddly fabric. The price was excellent, too, and far less than what I would expect to pay from major department stores (if I could have found one there). This will be my favourite thing to wear around the house on cold, winter nights.

Very please with my purchase. It's well made and the material is lovely and soft. I was a little worried when I unpacked it as was a little crumpled, but after hanging it up for a while it was fine. Now I can't wait to put it on. I would buy another and will be ordering a summer version.

The main problem is that the S-shaped zipper pull got repeatedly tangled in the mesh of the delicates wash bag, and has now snapped in two. I have since replaced it with a more suitable zipper pull.

I love this dressing gown. Not too long, I am 5' 1" It is warm and cosy for the winter and love the hood if I am any where draughty.

Unfortunately this item was not as I had expected. The fabric was thinner and the zip not long enough.
