Neat-O & ashes don't go ANYWHERE!!
This cost me less than $10. 10 freaking dollars. It's beautiful, the smoke is concentrated away from you, so it doesn't blow wherever the wind takes it. It's visually appealing and the best part in the world..THE ASHES STAY WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. No having to clean up your coffee table, because there's been a fallout cloud from your incense. Nopey nope. Clean table. Kewl incense holder.......time to light up & Door Dash.

Zen, But Make It Cute (and Mess-Free)
I love this incense holder! The incense burns perfectly, the glass ash catcher actually works (no mess!), and cleanup is super easy. It is light weight and sturdy. It looks really cute and adds a calm, cozy vibe to the room without ashes everywhere. THe hole holds the sticks perfectly. Functional and aesthetic...exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend for anyone trying to keep their zen without the cleanup drama.

Works like a charm
This ia a really great product and it's one of those things you didn't know you needed. I use a lot of incense and the ashes are always a problem. This product solves the problem with a great design that keeps the stick encased in a glass tube so that the ash doesn't go all ovr the place. The design is ingenious. It's basically a nice wooden base with a square glass tube that's open at the top and closed at the bottom. Then they have a holder that is a clip for the incense stick. You light the stick, then put it in the holder and the ash just falls into the tube. You might have to adjust it a bit so it doesn't touch the sides, but overall it's a great way to burn incense and it's only $10. I usually have to hide the incense sticks or burn them in a bowl of sand, but with this device you can put it on your dining room table or bookshelf or anywhere and it works like a charm.

Delicate. Looks Great. Use with Care.
I bought this because I follow an East Asian lifestyle, and I burn a lot of incense. I wanted something simple that would help catch ash from incense a bit better than my other incense burner trays. While gorgeous, they do leave a little bit of ash behind. So I clean more in those areas. With this encapsulated square glass tube I thought it would save on all the cleaning and flyaway ash. And It Does do that! Perfectly. And it has a more modern look and makes the areas where I use this incense holder style look even less cluttered because of the see-through nature of the glass. As far as holding the incense stick and catching all of ash, this definitely works. And it looks lovely and calming as the incense burns and the fragrant smoke floats into the air - sans ash. For these reasons I have rated it a 4. Now I removed a star because of the way this incense holder is crafted. Basically the roach clip that holds the incense has grooves and when it clamps onto the incense stick, it will push it in one direction or the other forcing the burning end closer to the glass wall of the holder. You will need to adjust where it clamps or turn the incense stick as sometimes incense sticks can be bent and are not perfectly straight. Most of the time making a couple slight adjustments works fine. So I am okay with that. However, the way this is put together - although simple - makes it very delicate and I already know I will need to replace it at some point. When it arrived there is the incense clamp and rod that is 1 piece. There is the square glass tube, and there is a small wooden base. There is a precut hole in one side of the wooden base. This very tiny hole is where you will insert the incense holder rod. It should be inserted so that the incense clamp is sitting directly above the middle of the square glass tube. Once you insert the incense holder rod into the precut hole of the wooden base you will notice that it is a bit shallow and very very easy for the rod to wiggle around if you press too hard, thus actually making the hole bigger. So, not knowing this I accidentally pushed harder on the rod because I thought it had not reached the bottom of the precut hole and wound up pushing the rod against the wood accidentally making the hole wider. So I next used paper wrapped around the bottom of the incense holder rod to add some 'bulk' to 'seat' the rod properly so it would remain standing upright over the opening of square glass holder. The roach clip requires a little strength to open it. Just make sure you aren't pushing the rod at too much of an angle as you are removing a burnt end of an incense stick from the roach clip and inserting a new incense stick. If you press the rod at an angle while doing this, you will wind up making the whole in the base larger and the incense stick will no longer stand straight. I hope this explanation made sense. I would still recommend it. I am still able to use it. And it works fine. But I am far more careful when removing a burnt end of an incense stick from the roach clip and inserting a new incense stick. Hope this information helps you make a decision. Happy shopping!

Extremely good value for an excellent incense holder.
I really like this incense holder. It comes with a lovely wooden base, a glass, a rod with alligator clip, a cleaning brush, and 20 incense sticks. The metal rod with alligator clip fits into a hole in the wooden base and holds the incense stick securely upside down in the glass. The glass itself fits into an area routed from the wood. It does not fit as snugly as I would have preferred having a bit of extra room around its base but it is level and in no danger of tipping as long as it is on a flat level surface. When the incense stick is burned the smoke is directed up and the ash falls to the bottom of the glass, and it does have a bottom so ash is not falling onto the wooden base meaning all ash is easily and completely cleaned away, unlike wooden holders that can cling to some ash in the wood grain. There is a brush included to help with cleaning. Holding the incense in this position might produce a little more smoke but as I have only burned one stick from a new box I cannot say with certainty. I got 30 minutes of burn time from a stick expected to give 30 to 45. There are 20 incense sticks included with the holder. Initially I tried one of them and while it burned well and had a subtle fragrance, to me it smelled like smoke only so I burned one of my more fragranced sticks instead. Anyone who leans toward a less perfumed incense will likely enjoy them, and I will burn them again, but was in the mood for more fragrance at the time. In summation this is a fantastic value which at the time of this review is less than $10. Certainly highly recommended.

NO MESS INCENSE BURNING ! SAFE. EASY, ATTRACTIVE
This is great! It keeps the ashes in an easily cleaned glass reservoir for clean burns and cleanup. We immediately ordered 2 more after using it! The alligator clip holds the stick and the incense burns up to snuff on the stick slowly and evenly.

A quality and practical incense burner
This is a simple, inexpensive, and effective way to burn incense. The glass cylinder catches all ash without fear of embers flying while unattended. The wood base is attractive and securely holds the glass cylinder. The third piece, the stem holder, grips the stem firmly and allows the incense to burn upside down, dropping its ash into the glass cylinder. The included brush is long enough to reach to the bottom of the cylinder, making cleanup easy. I was unaware of this method of burning incense before searching but this burner makes a lot of sense. For the cost, it’s easy to recommend.
