I had to modify it and set it up several times until I figured out how to make it safe. It’s super sturdy now. But if someone without a half a brain or common sense went to install this rack, it would definitely fall off. It took me a couple of hours of messing around with the brackets until I got it tight.Rack came with 3x sets of brackets designed for different roofs. I picked the ones that most closely resembled the profile and height of my roof, bent them to fit better and prior to installing all this, I put a large piece of 3M clear PPF film where the brackets made contact with the roof. Then I adjusted all the screws, added red locktite, measured it all to make sure it’s symmetrical from front to back and left to right. Then I righted it all the knobs and was pretty satisfied with the result.Ask a mechanically inclined friend to help you, otherwise you may have a negative experience.

I had bought roof rails from perrycraft and had had a hard time finding cross bars that attach securely to them . Finally the search is over and I have found ones that have a large adjustment range for a taller and wider area to grip than on new cars that are also rounded on the outside where my rails they are more rectangular . Happy they! I would say these would fit any raised roof rails tbh. The grip is also very strong now I just need to test the load and see if they are strong in that sense !
