It puts out a decent amount of fog for it's size. We got it for photography. One thing of note is that it works really well when there's no air movement. If outdoors, it doesnt work well when the wind picks up. We had to use a mix of this and canned atmosphere/fog for our recent Photoshoot. The canned fog is great when windy, but this is a much cheaper alternative when it's not windy. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been in the commercial production for years making many commercials you see on TV today. I’ve rented very expensive fog machines for very small room setups and there’s almost always been an issue. I saw a video about this fog machine and thought for the price why not give it a try. Wow, very pleasantly surprised and I think for most real world applications for smaller areas like in homes or smaller production sets this tool will be an asset to your filming needs.

Pros: - Feels well-built - Excellent ergonomics Cons: - It doesn't actually work I am very disappointed in this thing. There are so many compact fog machines, and most of them have terrible reviews. This was one of the few that didn't, but now I understand this is because it simply it needed more time on the market. The common complaint of the fog machines immediately overheating is fully represented here. I could not produce fog for more than one or two seconds at a time before it would say that it was overheating and needed a moment. Basically, it does not do the one thing that it is supposed to do. Needless to say, I will be returning it. tldr; it doesn't product fog. It is an expensive paperweight.

Update: I went through Amazon to chat with the brand and they had me try to update the machine - which did not work because I don’t have a windows computer. They did sent me a new one and it works as intended. Old: I received the fog machine and followed all the instructions. It works for about 2 seconds and then says “overheating”. I contacted customer support over email and tried calling but have not heard a response. I recommend avoiding this product if it is such a hit or miss if you will get one that gives you error codes. Their website and manual have no helpful information on this even though other reviewers also state this problem.

I used this during one of my photoshoots and it worked great. It produces enough smoke, but wind or AC will take it away quick. Its small, its not meant to saturate the environment
