Not for petite wonen
It's a perfect wetsuit jacket for boys I am a petite female and sometimes can wear a boy's jackets shirts and pants. Unfortunately, it is too tight across the chest for me I really liked it

Good quality but I think overalls-the onesies with bottom- are beter choice for keeping kids warm while swimming in cold water.

Neoprene Jacket
I wore this in the water at the Bahamas to keep me a little warmer, it did, but it made me too buoyant in the ocean when snorkeling and trying to get to the bottom so I removed it. I have used it in lake water and is not as buoyant. Make sure this jacket fits tight when you try it on dry, once you get in the water it will loosten up. Like the quality, style and big zipper. I would recommend to friend

Toxic smell - I would not put this on children
I bought this wet suit jacket for my son but as soon as I opened the package, terrible toxic smelling fumes immediately hit me in the face. I bought my daughter a similar wet suit jacket from a different brand and it definitely did not have such a horrid smell. I let the jacket air out overnight but the smell just clings to it. I have no idea what kind of cheap material they used to set off so much VOC but there was no way I was letting my son wear this.

swim lessons with less complaining
our local pool for swim lessons seems to have been too cold for my 7year old - getting in the pool for lessons was a struggle. We got him this jacket which has been a huge help in keeping him warm and paying attention to instruction.
