a VERY good choice
this ram is absolutely fire! at its lower expo speed I managed to nearly break a TimeSpy record in 3DMark. My score was 27 978... out of 28 500ish unfortunately my RAM sticks arrived damaged but only the LED strip diffuser which two dims have a crack pros: fast reliable stable overclockable COMPATIBILITY! (Even though this doesn't say it's compatible with Asus sports or MSI boards or gigabyte boards or ASRock....... it ran at its max speed on all of them (that the motherboard would allow)) Even though these dims get hot the heat spreaders do their job and keep the components quite cool as long as you have good air flow cons: compatibility is not guaranteed on almost any platform due to its non-existence on compatibility lists. TO CHECK COMPATIBILITY YOU MAY NEED TO CHECK THE CHIPS MANUFACTURER. Tip for EXPO XMP 4 dimm - max speed for four dims is much slower than the max speed for the motherboard memory. if your motherboard says 6,000+ OC most likely your max for four sticks of XMP or expo are 5600. I got mine to run at 5800 on a x670 e-a Asus (5600max2ch2dimm) IF YOU'RE HAVING STABILITY PROBLEMS BUT YOU'RE ABLE TO BOOT INTO WINDOWS ON AN EXPO PROFILE RAISE THE VOLTAGE BY .01 VOLT AT A TIME (IF IT'S 1.25 RAISE IT TO 1.26, THEN 1.27 AND SO ON) For this ram on an x670 e-a... my recommended settings are: expo 2 5600, pbo enhanced lv1, turn uncore to enable, Infinity fabric Auto and U mode to auto. if you have four dims you shouldn't have a problem getting into the operating system but if you run a stress test it probably will crash. I raised the voltage up by 01 volts until I got something stable I ended up with a .02 volt increase from 1.25 to 1.27. I raised it up again another little bit and I ran into more instability. I've learned so much from using this RAM it is really sturdy stuff! I'm giving it five stars despite being aesthetically damaged because it is so good at what it do

The default rainbow effect is annoying
I thought it would be cool to be able to adjust the colors on my ram. Unfortunately, there is no persistent memory about what setting you choose, so when you reboot, you get the rainbow effect until Windoze loads. If you use any other operating system, this is no support. I run Linux and Kingston customer support has said there is no plan to ever support adjusting the colors/patterns with Linux. If the lights were just off, or solid white or really any solid color, that would be disappointing, but acceptable. The rainbow thing causes it to look like I've got a disco going all night long from outside my house. My neighbors have asked what's going on in my office all night. Its ridiculously bright and very frustrating that there's no way to turn it off. I did finally find a hackey way to get them to turn a solid color but there is no support from any linux utility to easily adjust the color and it still stays in annoying rainbow until my system finishes booting and a script that sets the colors to solid is run. If I had it to do over, I'd have saved my money and gone with an non-RGB option. Functionally the memory works as advertised and since I was able to hack the colors a little bit, I'll give it 3 stars. If you're using Windoze, you'll be fine.

Overall the ram is good and works as stated. The issue is after only a few months the white led is now yellow and looks bad.

You can not disable the RGB cross platform! I don't know if the reason is the lack of onboard memory or their software. The software turns The RGB of, only until you restart your PC.

This is a great memory but it wasn’t clockable to 6000mt/S when you have 4 memory stick installed . The only way to enable the XMP is only with 2 memories . I did have 2 pairs exactly the same KF560C36BWEAK2-64 . It will recognize the size of the memory to 128gb but you are limited to 3000 my/s vs 6000mt/s . You might as well stick to a pair if you don’t need that much memory . I barely use more than 24gb/s at any given point It is possible it is due to my motherboard but it has been mentioned this is a limitation on most motherboard . Check the compatibility if you want 128 gb and are able to enable XMP
