Rather dramatic headline, I know. However, for a person who loves taking baths, this is a wonderful find! I have been using one of those lame bath plugs that never seems to hold in place. With the resulting slow water leak from the tub, I would find the need to periodically add water to the bath to keep it at the desired level. I have tried different types of drain covers with little variation in the results. So when I happened upon this, I was hopeful, yet mildly skeptical that it would work. To my pleasant surprise this stopper has worked perfectly!!! No leak whatsoever. Yet when the stopper is in the open position, the water flows perfectly with no backup. To top that off, the strainer also works like nothing I have ever had before. When I removed the stopper to clean it, I was again surprised to see how well the strainer had captured hair and kept it from going down the drain. I was hopeful that it would also fit my sink, but it was just a tad bit too large. Overall though, I am very happy to have stumbled upon this tub drain stopper and strainer. It is definitely a 5 star and 2 thumbs up product!! Highly recommend!!

Moved into a place with no drain stopper in tub. I have 2 toddlers. They pulled the top part off within the first week. Otherwise, these are wonderful. Better for older kids and adults.

The plug was the right size for my sink but it doesn't stay put. It moves too easily when a dish moves against it, then the water begins to drain out. I was hoping it would work in a suction type of way but it doesn't.

It’s a great idea! But it’s not very practical. It’s hard to clean the hair out of it without taking it out of the tub. And the third time I took it out of the tub the top section broke off.

The product said it would fit a lavatory drain but that is not the case. That's a 1 inch drain and this is over that size. A waste of my money.

It works great as a stopper I guess. It does catch the hair. However, it’s a pain to get the hair outs it gets tangled in the metal.

Excellent product. Does the job, looks great and very affordable.
