Heel Protector Elbow Protector Cradle Lite Medium pair

I use this for both my elbows when I go to bed to overcome the tingling in my fingers that is presumably caused by unwarranted pressure on my elbow's touchy points.If you elbows are not skinny like mine, this is a 4-star. I gave it a 4 star, since the looseness should not be a factor for at least 75% folks. If you are skinny, consider this a 3-star or try to find a "small" instead of "medium" size.The contraption is pretty basic and by no stretch can it be considered a well-crafted contraption, but it works even though it is so loose on my elbows that it has slid off by the time I get up in the morning.The "sponge" portion is not wide enough, in my opinion. Even for a slender elbow like mine, one endpoint of my back of the elbow can get "thick" cushion, whereas the other endpoint of my my elbow gets only "thin" cushion. Ideally, I would have liked 240 degrees (out of 360 degrees) of my elbow to get "thick" padding. At least 180 degrees would have been good, but this is less than that. I don't have it next to me; but my guess is it probably covers 120 to 150 degrees.

The picture does not show mesh on the ends of the pad. They are flimsy to put on, do not stay in place, and become very uncomfortable to sleep with them on. They make my elbows worse, and are shameful.

My daughter had surgery on her elbow and uses the heelbo to relieve some of the continuing pain. She originally purchased a blue heelbo through her doctor's office. They were moving from AR to MT and stopped for a few days at home. Her heelbo was in shreds so I ordered both this style and the original style hoping this one would be lighter weight for use during the hot summer. Amazon came through in flying colors and delivered the entire order in less than 3 days. It arrived only moments before they pulled out of the driveway! However, after wearing it for only a week, it is already starting to unravel. The sleeve is white in color but is much closer to a heavy acrylic sweater material than the almost mesh looking fabric depicted in the photo. My daughter's first heelbo lasted her almost 9 months of daily wear before it wore out and even then most of it was cosmetic appearance not function. Just get the original one by Mabis. Does what it is supposed to do. Kind of like a sock with the foot cut out and some foam padding added to the inside. My only complaint is they run small. I am a petite woman, and I ordered a medium which feels too tight after awhile. I have to remove it for a bit, and put it back on. If I had it to do over, I would order the large.

Was to sure on what size to purchase there wasn't a guide. I knew I would have to wear it a few time to stretch it out. Just wish I had order one size up. But it does protect my elbow

If you have cubital tunnel in your elbows or have had surgery for same, these elbow pads are lifesavers! You know how it is, if something is sore or hurts, you bump, bang, hit, bounce off of everthing you never bumped into in your life, with the most sensitive part of your body.Simple, well made, and comfortable to wear, and yes, the folks in the office will eventually stop asking you about them, or..wear them under a long sleave shirt, and few if any people will noticeA life saver!

My husband wears one of these daily to help protect his elbow from pressure sores. When he first came home from the hospital (7 years ago), he had one very similiar but when it came time to replace, I could not find one that he like. The fabric on the new ones were very tight and did not stretch much. He loves this one - they are like a sock material that holds up but not too tight on his arm.

These elbow protectors are great - have used one on my right elbow for about 3 years - before my surgery and after - my elbow is almost discomfort free if I remember to use it every night. I have recommended them to other people that have problem elbows or problems with the nerves in/around the elbow area. They wear very well and wash and dry nicely. I rely on them and hope they will always be available!
