I use these gates on a flight of stairs in a house with a 1-year-old child. The gates pleasantly surprised me with the quality of the assembly: the metal is durable, the coating is smooth, all the elements fit precisely. The installation took about 15 minutes - the kit includes everything you need, including wall mounts.
