I purchased this just for fun, and I have to say that this light/lamp is very clever and looks terrific. The setup couldn't have been more straightforward, and everything was up and working in under 10 minutes. Pairing it with the Alexa app was simple, and I can control most of its features with Alexa; however, for full functionality, it does require an additional application, which was also straightforward. The lamp appears well-made, but I don't think it would withstand being knocked off a table onto hard flooring or banging against furniture. The lights and lighting effects are stunning and completely mesmerising, and colours can be vibrant or mellow, that's entirely up to you. I have been playing with it for about an hour and am already in love. I am looking forward to trying out the many options available. Definitely worth the money.

I’ve no clue how this lamp works, it’s not like a light at all, it’s like the entire dome is a screen, because I don’t know how they achieve the moving patterns with LED’s. And every part of the dome can admit any colour & change instantly to another colour. There’s around 70 preprogrammed light scenes, it’s actually too many, there’s so many great effects it’s hard to choose which one to use haha. You can save your favourites so you don’t have to go through them all each time. Some of the scenes look like a lava lamp, where the colour is just falling from the top of the lamp to the bottom, and vice versa. The light is actually very bright, it’s brighter than I was expecting & brighter than the previous lamp I had, so I’m very pleased with its brightness. Especially the normal white light. You can power on the light, switch brightness and switch between the light scenes from the device itself, you don’t need the app, although it’s much better with the app as you can fidget around with everything. I’ve added a video, I chose one of the darkest settings as the brighter ones just show up as a blur in the video, but there’s much more colourful settings than the one I shared. So overall I’m delighted with this light, it looks amazing

I absolutely love this Govee lamp — it’s bright, colourful, and so fun to use. The touch controls are super convenient, and I enjoy the music sync feature; it makes the room feel lively. The RGBIC lights are vibrant and the 64 scene modes let me change the mood easily. Works perfectly with Alexa, which is a big plus. As always, Govee delivers quality — it’s one of my favourite brands for smart lighting. Great quality and price highly recommended

I love lights ! This is a fantastic lamp, which led to purchasing another once I saw what it could do . I have these behind my TV so they illuminate most of my back wall. The lamps are glossy grey with clear bases so they look quite unassuming till you turn them . There are basic functions using the top touch sensitive buttons which cycle colour or some of the basic animations. The full fat version requires the Govee app , this gives all the capabilities of the lamps functions and allows syncing of two lamps.so they mirror each other . You can flick between sync or individual control. I haven't linked the lamps through Google home as our router is bi band and sticks to the 5Ghz which doesn't work with the lamps (2.5Ghz) but the app is linked via Bluetooth and works fine. Generally the app works very well but you need location on (Sony Xperia 1 V) for some reason for the lamps to be detected. The app it's self is great , well laid out and all help services ,live chat can be accessed along with a help full forum. I'd you purchase the dreamscape TV sensor the lamps will mimic your TVs coloy output (think Philips ambi light) The brightness is extremely good , even on mid settings the output is pleasing. They come well packed and with power adapters , the cable is fairly long but I've used an extension on one . They are also light weight so no issues with adding onto shelving. I'm really happy with them. No noticeable difference on our electricity bill as we run them soon as it's dark . Which is another cool feature via app , automatic on and off via sunrise and sunset Plus single tap if using by a bedside at night to run on. I think the cost is related more with keeping the app alive and growing the item functions and new products, but they have replaced my mathmos lamps which were great at the time but as The Doc says "Roads? Where we're going,we don't need roads ."

This is a great little lamp that took only 5 minutes to setup. I wanted a table lamp for the living room that would set a mood and this went well above my expectations. The scenes are easily controlled from the mobile app and you can also control the lamp through the switches on the top. Great light colour choices are available. I bought it for the Matter integration so that I could include it in Home Assistant

I'm very happy with the lamp, it has great brightness, the colour 'scenes' are very good and fund. It is very good quality, albiet made of plastic so maybe a bit on the expensive side. The only downside is that you cannot control the 'scenes' from Alexa. This isn't too big a deal though. Solid 4/5, I would reccomend this for the vibes.

Lampe incroyable. Permet d'obtenir de très beaux effets sans les ennuis de lampes vintage style lava-lamp. Se connecte parfaitement à l'appli et retient le dernier réglage entre deux extinctions. Bonne luminosité pour une lampe de déco. Énormément de possibilités, de très (très !) nombreux setups déjà partagés sur l'appli.
