Good way to get kids talking!
I am a therapist with children and have used the first set of Thoughts and Feelings Cards for years. They have been very helpful in getting kids to share their personal stories and their feelings. Ordered this set because for some long-time clients, the others were old. So far I've been happy with the sentence starters in this set, and my kids have been very responsive, without feeling like I'm digging to get information.

Perfect therapeutic activity
Love, these cards for individual , group and family counseling sessions. They are versatile to kids and families needs. I use them with several games. Great conversation tool with new clients and getting groups to talk. My favorite therapeutic toll!! Set 1 is wonderful as well.

Great family activity
I bought these in combination with the first deck and combined to make a large deck. At dinner each person draws a card and finishes the sentence. It's a nice way to hear what your kids are thinking, and very good for those struggling with emotions. My kids are currently 6, 6, and 10 and it works well for all of them.

Excellent cards ...
My daughter had speech therapy for 2 years and we stopped because it was getting too expensive. So we decided to invest in both sets of these thoughts and feeling cards and it has really helped her continue her speech sessions at home.My 4 year old is a visual learner. She has a difficult time remembering auditory speech. But when something is written with words and pictures, she has a near photographic memory. So these cards are perfect for her. It forces her to think about these questions and using the pictures as guides it makes her use her speech to construct sentences and phrases.Sounds really basic but there's something about flash colorful flash cards that really captures a child's attention. I plan on using these in the junior high classroom environment too. The tweens always gets a kick out of these basic children's cards.

Both sets of cards have good sentences to start people talking
I think that the first set of Bright Spots were more interesting and helpful. Both sets of cards have good sentences to start people talking. Well thought out, but sometimes the pictures are confusing with the sentence.

Kids Love Them
I am so surprised how much kids love these cards. You can ask the same things without the cards and they won't be interested, but with the cards it feels like a game and they actually request it. Highly recommend these cards! Signed, a new therapist working with kids for the first time via telehealth during the pandemic.

Love this tool. Helps kids prompt conversation in a safe way. They seem to enjoy the silly and complex pictures.
