Hide Cave Aquarium Decorations-Premium Resinous Natural Hideout Fit for Aquariums & Terrariums, Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish Playground

I bought this for my 1 year old, 764g ball python, and it's the perfect size for him. Please note, it's not extra roomy for him or anything, he likes tight spaces. It looks very nice in his vivarium, has a realistic moss-covered rock appearance, and I love that it is smooth inside. There's nothing sharp, no sharp edge or ledge at the bottom, it's not rough inside but has enough texture that it will aid in shedding, and it's very easy to clean. It is heavy for a hide, it's not light weight by any means which is also nice. Very nice quality, height is perfect, width is nice, and the length is good. This has become my snake's favorite hide. I do put some plants in front of it because of the bigger opening, so he can feel more hidden in there. He likes to lay on it, and behind it also. He lives in and around it. After searching and searching for a hide for my choosy boi, we both seem to be very satisfied with this one.

Was looking for a larger hidee-hole for our 3 axolotls. We have a giant tank the three of them share and have placed this on one end as a perfect hideaway/perch for our axolotls. Fits great, looks great and made of a very sturdy material that feels almost like a rock. No jagged edges to worry about either. Looks great!

I was hoping it would be as large as it claimed, and it was. It is quite sturdy and my fish have gone in and out of it often.

Overall, this has worked well for my young mud turtle. The hide is heavy and my turtle loves it. It stays in place really well.The only issue that I’ve been experiencing is that the paint has been chipping along the top of the hide. I saw another reviewer say the same thing, so I’m sure this isn’t an isolated incident. At this point, I’m not sure if I’d trust the “non-toxic” description and may switch it out pretty soon.If you’re not using it in an aquarium or under water, I would say it is perfect.

I purchased this hide at the end of December for our Axolotl, he loves the size of it but the paint is coming off and it’s caused a brown algae bloom in his tank and we have been noticing differences in his behavior and we are upsizing his tank right now and we didn’t know what was causing this till we took this cave out of the tank and the smell is so awful almost like a chemical smell. I absolutely wouldn’t trust this in any aquatic tanks. I’m fairly certain this is what’s making our boy not feel well.

We have an axolotl and they can be expected to grow about 12 inches long so we got this hide to make him feel safe in his home and he loves it! It's his absolute favorite and there is plenty of room to spare. The back is nice and dark so it's a comfy little nook for him to hang out while resting.
