Soft and fun
Soft lightweight foam blocks. The grandkids love them. We had cardboard blocks, but they were getting crushed occasionally either under a chair or under some larger child’s foot. I recommend getting at least two sets. Crawling toddlers that are teething. Do sometimes bite them.

Best entertainment for children yet.
Foam blocks make the best building toy for toddlers and even 4 year olds. Best part, if a throwing match evolves, the blocks don't hurt! There are no notches or holes that have to be matched together. The blocks lie flat and don't slip. My great grandkids adore them.

Finally!!! Building bricks that aren't made out of cardboard!!! I love them!!!
Splocks. I love them!! The bricks are actually brick sized. They are soft. They seem very durable. My kids have been using them for Nerf battles, forts and stuffing in their shirts for sumo wrestling. We set up little obstacle courses for my 1 year old, who can't seem to get enough. They have held their shape and do not shed. Best of all, we have been storing them in a vacuum storage bag (See - Amazon Basics Vacuum Compression Storage Bags Jumbo Size) so they shrink down to nothing and are easily stored. When the bag is opened, they pop back to original form. When they are using the blocks, the room is littered with them. 2 minutes later, they are neatly compressed in a bag the size of a basketball. There are enough in the set to build one large brick wall. I'm tempted to buy at least one more set, which should be enough to build a small fort. I can't say enough good things about this simple toy. My kids and their friends have been drawn to these over every other toy in the closet. The only other comparable brick I've found are the horrible cardboard ones. We bought a set of those last year. It took days folding, and assembling each brick. After almost losing eyes with the sharp corners, they fell apart quickly. I was glad to get rid of them, as they created such a mess, and couldn't be stored easily. Splocks are such an improvement. I rarely leave reviews, but I'm so happy with these.

Safe toy but not exactly what I expected.
The product is as described but not exactly what I expected. The blocks are very light (“spongy”) less than an ounce each. The blocks are cut uniformly but the colors are cut slightly differently in size, which becomes evident when building towers. I was expecting denser, closed cell foam like I had seen in commercial children’s play areas, and they are not. None the less my toddler grandson shares none of my complaints, and this is a fun toy for toddlers to build and knock down without anything or anyone getting hurt.

Sturdy like flip flops- Good Buy
These are great. Sturdy enough to build with and throw at each other. lol. But soft enough to not hurt. Kids love these! If the kids bite them, their teeth marks will show. It’s sorta like the material of a good set of flip flops!

Fine - but not for younger toddlers
Lots of blocks at a good price, but not the best material for younger toddlers who might put them in thier mouth biting off pieces. Will put these away until she is older. I do like that they are bright and colorful and don't appear that they will mark walls if thrown etc.

Fun safe play
Love these because the kids can build together and if one gets frustrated and throws it, it’s not gonna hurt you. The kids have a lot of fun with them using their imagination.
