It works!
Summary Pros: works really well, long lasting, basically invisible. Cons: expensive, spreads like cold butter, amount given is disappointing. Worked for me! At first I was very disappointed. The amount they give you is very little compared to your average lip balm. It feels kind of underwhelming when you pay so much but get a half empty lip balm container. Regardless I was excited to try it out. I have extremely dry lips especially during the winter. And although I didn’t take any pictures of the before, just imagine super flaky lips that if you were to smile too wide you would start bleeding (I don’t want to put my lips through that again so just take my word for it). I would constantly be rubbing off the dry flakes out of embarrassment (I know that makes it worse but that’s just what helped in the moment). I had tried so many different lipsticks/lip balms nothing truly worked. The best I would get is the healing ointment from cerave. And although that did work, It would make my lips look super oily and I would need to constantly be reapplying. This lipbalm works great. I apply it in the morning and night and my lips feel hydrated all day. It is thick in consistency, so its hard to apply on dry lips since it spreads like cold butter (at first). But it doesn’t feel heavy and you can tell you have enough when you smack your lips. After 4 days my lips went from dehydrated prehistoric fossils to plump and healthy. I was skeptical at first but I “trusted the process” and it worked very well for me.

Great for my sensitive lips!
This product works amazing for my lips. My lips are very sensitive and I’m always having rashes/dermatitis/eczema/swelling and peeling, and this is the only stuff that works for my extremely sensitive skin on my lips. When I say it works, I mean, it does not cause any irritation and every single other product does. This is literally my remedy!

Impressive.
Generally, I use coco-butter for my lips when they are chapped. My wife suggested this product and I didn't have to lick my lips to moisten them for the entire day. It is denser than petrolium jelly and not as greasy at the same time. I am very happy with this product. It is on the expensive side, but it was well worth it.

Lips are NOURISHED!
I wanted to try something new that wasn’t Vaseline. I always liked Dr Shah and saw this lip balm with peptides, which is an ingredient I am incorporating more into my routine. It’s so lovely on the lips, I only need 2-3 applications throughout the day. Doesn’t shine too much. Makes my lips feel really soft and nourished in a way Vaseline doesn’t. But the remedy lip balm doesn’t hold up well overnight. I’ve had to apply a layer of remedy and then add a layer of Vaseline on top to keep full moisture on overnight. I def would recommend!

Not worth the price, poor quality, half empty tube, grainy after about a month of use.
I have been trying to find a dupe for some random airline lip balm from Sunday Riley when they partnered with United Airlines. I did not know who Sunday Riley was before I got the lip balm. It is discontinued now and Sunday Riley never released this formula on their own. I did a bunch of comparisons of ingredients and reviews and narrowed it down to this one. It is not a basic lip balm, it is a this ointment like balm that you couldn't probably only use at night because it is so thick. It leaves a gray cast, was only half full, and got grainy before I finished the package. It was too expensive for it so suck so bad. I've moved on to Aquaphor lip repair and it's price point and quality is better. I'm still trying to find my Sunday Riley dupe though. It was seriously the best lip balm I ever used.

Excellent Purchase
I’ve been following Dr Shah on IG for a while, so I am familiar with their products. Recently I watched their lip bam review because I was interested in something that could heal my dry peeling lips. I am also sensitive to a lot of things so that was helpful to watch as they pointed out in a lot of popular balms that they have many potential irritants. I was weary to try this lip balm because usually this type of balm weirds me out- the texture, scent, taste, etc. However, this exceeds my expectations. No taste and texture is like a paste, so it doesn’t travel outside of where you apply it. No sensitivities yet cropping up, but I will update this review if something does. I would highly recommend this product.

Difficult to apply. Mixed results.
Difficult to squeeze out product to apply. Felt nice on initial application but did not help my dry lips and actually seemed to make it worse as day wore on. Gave it to my partner and it seems to work much better on him but so does every other chapstick.
