Kennedy Home Collections Christmas Ornament Storage Box (Storage for 112)

I really liked this storage unit. It was compact and ideal for my small apartment holiday storage needs. It held all the ornaments from my 6-foot tree and zipped together in a snap. I would recommend placing a sturdy cardboard base at the bottom as they don't have enough of the white dividers to place one at the bottom. I used the two flaps from the delivery box to stabilize the bottom. For the larger ornaments I had that didn't fit the traditional slots, I left the top open, wrapped them in tissue paper, and that worked well for me. The side handles were sturdy and the box seemed to be well made. I could see this used for a variety of storage needs. No plastic smells either from the box!

I am definitely having a better new year knowing that my life's collection of Christmas ornaments are kept perfectly in this storage box. I know that I will be able to retrieve them for Christmas this year and find them in a much better condition than the cardboard box I used to store them in year after year. This Kennedy Home Collections Christmas Ornament Storage Box is exactly what I've been looking for and finally found. Now I can store ALL my ornaments in one place and know they will be dust and dirt free when I want to bring them out for this December's holiday.

This box is perfect for my needs. I should have ordered two, to be truthful, but the one serves quite well...I just have so many ornaments that it is bulging at the sides...but much more efficient than the former method I was using...The "box" actually has some "give" to the sides, so if anything is slightly large, it is fully accommodated here.I fully recommend this storage system.

When I showed these to my husband, he didn't believe it would hold 64 full-sized ornaments, but I proved him wrong. It isn't super sturdy (the plastic is thin, and the dividers are cardboard), so you can't really stack anything on top of it. But if you just want a cheap organizer that holds lots, this works fine.

The fabric that holds the tote together has disintegrated after 6 years. I kept it stored in the attic for 11 months of the year so it isn't surprising. But, as I have no other storage options, I'll replace it with a sturdier one.

Okay. A little less substantial than I had hoped. Zippers don't zip smoothly. Dividers are not cut to fit tightly and so tend to come apart easily.

For the first time in my life, ALL of my Christmas ornaments are organized and protected. I really think I will be even more thrilled with this when next Christmas comes around and it will be easier to deal with decorating the tree.

So I bought this to replace a cardboard box storage unit that I had for my ornaments. I was a little disappointed by the softness of this box. and it has cardboard dividers that you have to put together, which is no easy feat. I guess they are okay. But I would have rather had a hard sided container.
