The kadhai is really well made. The design is elegant, convenient to use, very stable & satisfactorily heavy. The coating is good & reliable. The overall oil required for this is less & helps uniform cooking. This size is good for cooking 2 to 3 portions of subzi.

Futura 2.75 L / 1.1 Kg aprx. aniodised kadai. Product meets highlighted features. Can cook 750/500 gms gravy chicken curry. 1Kg fills up the pan to the brim hence won't be easy to stirr well. Very easy and smooth to stirr the masala mix not burning it out. Absolutely non-sticky too. The lid is costlier. I used a non-branded steel lid from the common market. My first recipe,the kadai-chicken, in this pan turned less strenuous and tastier with a difference to the non-stick kadai and traditional cast-aluminium/iron kadaies as well. Now am cofident to buy the 7.5 L aniodised kadai.

Good quality

Cooking wise its good. Thickness of the vessel is good. Oil use is slightly more since its not nonstick. However my biggest concern and complaint is the surface quality. After using to make halwa which requires lot of continous stirring I am seeing marks on the surface. Even when I chose a blunt SS spatula. Only wooden spatula can be uses even when its not nonstick and annodized aluminum. To mu surprise, I found that a sauce pan from futura of the same material I bought a year ago does not have the same problem. So clearly they have adulterated the material to keep the same cost and maintain profits.
