Snap hoop
I love it.Perfect for quilting. Does not move and you can make fabric taunt without it slipping.

Broke within just one year
I haven't even been using this hoop for a year and the part that connects it to the machine broke. This product is more than twice the price of the Embroidex hoop. In fact, I am still paying on the loan for this trash. So now I have to pay $20 a month for something I can't even use anymore.

Excellent for embroidering thick quilts/blankets
I love that I can now see the top hoop as I align my quilted blankets. Before I had to float the blanket and ended up with designs that were off a little which drove me crazy. I’m totally glad I invested in this hoop. The downside is that I’ve experienced my fabric slipping if I have to remove the hoop to deal with a bobbin issue. I’m sure as I become more proficient with the hoop that won’t happen as often. I know the hoop is a bit costly but it is completely worth it for people struggling to get their designs aligned with regular hoops.

Results are not centered.
I am very disappointed in this device. I have a Janome 400e. I tested a 7" simple circle and it was not centered. I will be returning this product.

Y axis off center and the connection to the machine is cheap plastic
Very disappointed in this product. The Y axis is off center and the foot nearly hits the hoop rim on the right. I’m afraid to make the largest designs my machine (Janome MC 400) can make for fear of damaging it. My machine is perfectly calibrated and won’t let me move a large design over to the left. The top part does not nest into the bottom part like a regular hoop. It is held by magnets and can shift. It is suggested to use upholstery pins around the outside of the frame to stabilize it. Try doing that with arthritic hands! You have to download crosshairs to apply flimsy paper rulers to the hoop if you want them. They are not available for 200x200 so they send you another size. Customer service was of no help with the Y axis being off center. Seems like the hoop they said fit my machine was not properly calibrated for it.And since I used it 3 projects have been ruined because the connector to the machine is cheap plastic and does not hold the hoop in place so the design shifts and is ruined.
