Transformers Toys Studio Series Deluxe One 114 Megatron, 4.5-inch Converting Action Figure, 8+

This was my second purchase of the Transformers Toys Studio Series Deluxe lineup. This purchase was Megatron and the prior purchase was Optimus Prime. Both purchases were for my 11-year-old son. Purchase price of popular toys can vary drastically from seller to seller within Amazon. This figure was $20 more than the first purchase. Both toys are from the same manufacturer series but different Amazon sellers.Regardless the end user (my 11-year-old) was thrilled. The toy does come with picture book instructions to transform, etc, so the disclaimer that it is intended for kids 8+ is accurate. It does also come with small parts which are a choking hazard for smaller children. Given the instructions, parts, and detail this toy is definitely intended for older children that have the patience to read and follow instructions.The toy figure is well detailed, and the plastic is sturdy. The hinges and joints move freely. The injection molding for the parts is good quality.The packaging is colorful, well-illustrated, and sturdy. If you open the packaging without ripping or tearing, etc. the toy can be stored in the packaging which it appears it was intended to be used for.I have shopped for similar 4.5-inch figures from different manufacturers at the big box retailers as well. Hasbro manufactures different versions of the 4.5-inch figures at different price points. So, buyer beware, the Hasbro Optimus Prime at lesser price points in the store is remarkedly different than this one. Walmart advertises the Studio Series Deluxe Transformers in the $50 range which are only available online. The lesser price point version is available in store.If you gauge the child thrill factor upon receipt, Transformers Studio Series Deluxe is the way to go and worth the extra money. Kids have a funny way of knowing the difference between the deluxe version and the standard version.

This figure is so clean and solid. I love it. It is the same height as the optimus one of the same series, at around 5.5 inches tall. They are definitely bigger than your standard deluxe figure, so I don't know why it is advertised as a deluxe figure. Nonetheless, it looks great and is super fun to play with. Just wish the head had more articulation and also the backpack should be non-removable, because there is no point in removing it. It stays on the figure for both robot mode and transformation, but whatever.

Almost perfectly screen, accurate poses terrifically and it’s just an all out fun toy, but I did wish it came with the triple barrel cannon that he had in the movie and looks great next to prime

I love the transformation and the desgin overall. I wish it was a little more articulated and complex but regardless it's a pretty good figure.

This studio series deluxe Transformers One toy is a great replica of the movie version. The instructions to transform Megatron is confusing, but there are great how-to videos on YouTube. Build quality is great and the plastic used is high quality. Detail is high and the toy is very posable. My son loves it!

Figure is screen accurate and sturdy, easy to love but a bit strange to transform due to strange instructions. Get it!

Great toy for collection

This is almost a perfect figure rendition of the design used in the movie. Feels good to hold, plastic feels durable and feels fun to mess with. Only critiques I have is that I wish it was the size class higher so they could've given it more paint and face detail, but they did pretty damn good for the price point they put it in.
