If you have an Alienware A51M R1 or R2, you already know that the battery does not last very long. It is more of an emergency power outage type of thing, or more for moving your laptop from one plug to the next without turning it off. At most I could get 1.5 to 2 hours doing light browsing out of my factory battery. This battery fit perfectly, is super easy to change out (no glue or weird flat cables). It just takes a few screws and a plug to change. It even comes with a little screwdriver if you don't have one. It came at 70% charge which is good for long term storage, and it instantly recognized and charged to 100%. You will have to run a charge/discharge cycle or maybe two to re-calibrate your battery management. I am super happy to have found a replacement
