Perfect water bottle for toddlers!
We absolutely love this Hydro Flask Water Bottle. My 16-month-old baby loves drinking water out of it, which honestly says a lot! The size is perfect for little hands, it’s lightweight, and the straw lid makes it easy for toddlers to drink without spilling everywhere. It keeps the water cold for a long time, even when we’re out and about, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. I also love that it’s easy to clean and doesn’t leak in the diaper bag. Great quality and totally worth it

Durable, reliable, great for kids
We purchased our first 12oz Wide Mouth Hydro Flask over two years ago, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. This bottle has survived daily use by a very active toddler and still looks almost brand new. The durability and quality of these bottles are truly impressive, making it worth every penny. As we prepared for the new school year, we decided it was time for an upgrade, especially with the introduction of some exciting new colors. My child was thrilled to pick out a fresh one, and I have to say, the new designs are vibrant and fun. However, I did notice that the newer model (purple) seems slightly smaller than our original (mint), even though both are labeled as 12oz. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s something worth mentioning. I’ve included a picture of both bottles side by side so you can see the difference for yourself. Overall, I highly recommend the 12oz Hydro Flask for kids. It’s durable, easy to clean, and keeps drinks at the perfect temperature for hours. Whether it’s for school, sports, or everyday adventures, this bottle has been a reliable companion.

A Parent's Dream: Durable, Leak-Proof, and Kid-Friendly!
As a mom of a very active 4-year-old in sunny Miami. We're on our second one now, and I can confidently say this is the best kids' water bottle on the market in my opinion. My first Hydro Flask bottle for my daughter has been in constant use since she was just eight months old. Now, more than three years later, it still looks and performs like new. The stainless steel construction holds up to all the drops, tumbles, and daily abuse a toddler can throw at it. The color is vibrant and has shown no signs of fading. My favorite features are simple but essential for any parent on the go. This bottle is dishwasher-safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. It's also truly leak-proof - I've never had a single spill or a wet bag, which is a lifesaver. Even sitting in the hot Miami sun for four hours, the water inside stays refreshingly cool. I love the easy design. The rubber on the bottom not only protects the bottle itself from dents but also prevents scratches on our hardwood floors. For those moments when a dishwasher isn't an option, it’s very easy to hand-wash. It also comes with two straws, which is a big plus. The easy-to-open lid is perfect for little hands to manage on their own, promoting independence. We have a collection of different water bottles, but this Hydro Flask is by far our go-to. It's the most reliable, durable, and practical option we've found. If you're looking for a bottle that will last for years and withstand all of life's little adventures, this is it. Five stars, without a doubt!

Durable and functional
This green Hydro Flask Jr. water bottle has been a total game-changer for my son! Ever since he got it, he's been chugging water like it's going out of style. He loves the color, the size is perfect for his little hands, and he feels so "grown-up" carrying it around. Before, getting him to drink enough water at school was like pulling teeth, but now he proudly takes his Hydro Flask everywhere. It keeps his water cold all day long, which is a huge plus, and it's super durable – it's already survived a few drops with no dents or scratches. Honestly, I can't believe the value for the price. This thing is built to last, and it's made staying hydrated way more fun for my son. If you're looking for a water bottle that's both kid-friendly and high-quality, look no further!

Great 20 oz water bottle for kids
The Hydro Flask 20 oz Water Bottle is an outstanding hydration companion that lives up to its reputation for quality and performance. #### Design and Build Quality The Hydro Flask 20 oz Water Bottle features a sleek, modern design available in a variety of vibrant colors. The build quality is exceptional, made from durable stainless steel that feels sturdy and robust in hand. The powder-coated finish adds a premium feel and provides a good grip, even when the bottle is wet. #### Insulation Performance One of the standout features of the Hydro Flask is its excellent insulation. Utilizing double-wall vacuum insulation technology, this bottle keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. I’ve tested it with both hot coffee and iced water, and it performed admirably, keeping my beverages at the desired temperature for extended periods. #### Usability The 20 oz size is perfect for daily use, whether at the gym, office, or on the go. It fits comfortably in most car cup holders and backpack side pockets. The wide mouth makes it easy to fill, pour, and clean, and it can accommodate ice cubes for an extra chill. The Flex Cap is a convenient addition, featuring a flexible strap that makes it easy to carry around. #### Durability After several months of use, the Hydro Flask shows minimal signs of wear. It has withstood drops and knocks without denting or scratching significantly, maintaining its aesthetic and functional integrity. #### Maintenance Cleaning the Hydro Flask is straightforward. It’s dishwasher safe, but I prefer hand-washing it to maintain the finish. The wide mouth allows for easy access to the interior, ensuring a thorough clean every time. #### Pros - Excellent insulation keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours. - Durable, high-quality stainless steel construction. - Sleek, attractive design with a variety of color options. - Wide mouth for easy filling, pouring, and cleaning. - Convenient Flex Cap for easy carrying. #### Cons - Slightly heavier compared to plastic bottles. - Premium price point, but worth the investment for quality. #### Final Thoughts The Hydro Flask 20 oz Water Bottle is a top-tier choice for anyone looking to keep their beverages at the perfect temperature while on the move. Its exceptional insulation, robust build quality, and stylish design make it a reliable and attractive addition to your daily routine. Despite being a bit pricier than other options, the durability and performance of this bottle justify the investment. Highly recommended for both everyday use and outdoor adventures!

Another win from Hydro Flask!
We have a ton of Thermos Funtainer bottles in our cabinets. They're thin and the paint always scratches or the decals peel off. They look horrible. I decided to replace those with these Hydro Flask kids water bottles. I'd like to say the other brand is cheaper, but they're really not by much. I can't believe I've spent as much as I have on them when the Hydro Flask ones are only a few dollars more. The Hydro Flask kids bottles are sturdier, easier to clean, and keep water cold for significantly longer than the Thermos ones we have. They hold enough water for younger kids. They feel like a better value because based on my other Hydro Flasks, they'll still look almost new a year from now! We don't use these 12 ounce ones for school--we have larger ones for that purpose. We use these in the house or for short car rides--because kids these days get so parched without constant access to water! These don't leak and even though they don't have branded characters on them, my kids really like them. They're easy to hold, fit all cup holders, and my kids like the straw tops. I put the tops and straws in the dishwasher and hand wash the bottles.

Solid water bottle, but needs several improvements
We're a loyal Hydro Flask family, mainly because they were one of the first companies to use an entirely LEAD-FREE sealing dot in their vacuum-insulated containers. (Their earlier products from years ago did contain lead, but when this was brought to their attention, they actually listened and switched to a lead-free material.) We generally love our Hydro Flask products because they are durable and do a good job insulating liquids. However, their kids' water bottles are lacking a few important features: 1. The lid leaks like crazy if the water bottle isn't kept upright. Hydro Flask actually sells a leak-proof lid ("Flex Straw") with their other wide-mouth water bottles--why they wouldn't start including it with the kids' water bottle is beyond me. Maybe it's because the Flex Straw spout is a little harder for young children to snap open, but I would honestly prefer helping my child open the spout to having to constantly clean up leaks. 2. Another feature they've overlooked with this model is a way to cover the spout when the water bottle is not in use. This is especially important for a kid's water bottle because it goes everywhere with school-age children and gets dropped in all kinds of places. Hydro Flask's major lead-free competitor includes a covered spout on their kids' water bottles, and if these products weren't all so expensive, I would be sorely tempted to switch brands. 3. Finally, I wish they would make these bottles slightly narrower and taller so that they would fit in more cup holders. We had to buy a third-party clamp-on cup holder for our stroller because the Hydro Flask doesn't fit in any of the three cup holders that came on our stroller. Now for the pros (and the reasons I still give this product four stars): 1. It's a simple design that's easy to clean. This matters a LOT, and it's the biggest thing that would give me pause if I were considering that other lead-free brand. The competitor I mentioned earlier uses a very complicated design for their straw lids, and they look like a major pain to clean. 2. These things are tough. We have four of the 12-oz kids' versions, and we abandoned using the protective "boots" long ago (we lost one of them, and then we just got tired of taking them off to clean them all the time). These bottles have been dropped countless times onto concrete, and yes, they've got some *small* dents and scuffs, but their functionality has not been affected in any way. They still do a great job insulating, and I don't expect any metal water bottle to be impervious to the wear and tear a kid puts it through. 3. As I mentioned earlier, they're lead-free, unlike most other insulated water bottle brands. With the brands that use leaded sealing dots, you might think that it would take a LOT for a kid to get the protective coating off of the bottom--news flash, that's not always the case. Those sealing dots are almost entirely lead, so acute poisoning could happen very quickly if the protective coating did come off. Not worth the risk in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend these since they are lead-free, durable, and easy to clean, but I suggest that you first see if you can find the regular 12-oz Hydro Flask with the Flex Straw lid. It's not marketed for children, so it doesn't come with the protective boot, but I honestly don't think you really need the boot. The leak-proof Flex Straw lid is much more valuable to me. (Just be prepared to help your kiddo open the spout until their fine-motor strength is a little more developed...) Alternatively, you could purchase this model and then purchase the Flex Straw lid separately, since it is compatible with this bottle, but as a matter of principle I refuse to pay $23 for a water bottle and lid, only to turn around and pay $15 for another lid. That's ridiculous. I really hope Hydro Flask will improve this product in the future, taking some of the above things into account.

Awesome water bottle for kids
Nice water bottle for my 2 year old! The color is awesome and my son loves it. the straw is easy to flip open. Two inner straws are included. The bottle and cap are easy to clean as well. The bottom silicone cover is a nice touch that helps prevent dings on the bottom of the bottle.
