I had no need for my laptops optical drive but required extra space for backing up important files.After much research I decided to give this caddy a go, it was cheap enough & I was really hoping to be able to attach to curved bezel from the front of my optical drive to this unit.I was extremely happy when it arrived as I could see straight away that the fitted flat bezel was indeed removable & had the exact same fitting as my current optical drives curved bezel. Now I knew that my laptop would still look original, I decided to test the caddy.No problems at all fitting my HDD in the caddy, laptop booted & found the drive without issue.My laptop is: Acer Extensa 2520-599S 15.6-Inch Notebook (Black) - (Intel Core i5 2.3 GHz Processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, Windows 10)
