Very Fragrant
It smells divine, however, I cannot say if one should eat a lot of it, as the seeds are of a hybrid variety, and not organic. I use it sparingly for garnishing, I'm wary of making a pesto out of it. It grows easily, yields a lot of plants and is easy to maintain. Daily, light watering and fertilizing from time to time is all thst's required. If you feed food plants well with different nutrients, it will enhance the quality if not taste. For example, whenenevet I need to fertilize my other plants with compost or manure, mustard seed liquid fertilizer, rock phosphate, egg shells, onion peel water..I always add some of it into the basil plants which helps, also use bio fungicide and neem water as an insecticide.

Excellent germination and good flavor
All the seeds germinated! My setup allows cme to maintain the correct temperature and humidity for seed germination, but if the seed quality is poor, then even a professional setup may not help. The seeds were sowed directly in the peat pellets without any treatment. The tray in the picture has 72 pellets and there were sufficient seeds in the packet to put around 3 seeds in each pellet. Most seeds germinated in 2 days while the slow ones germinated in the next 2-3 days. From the shape of the leaves and fragrance, they appear to be true Genovese basil. The seeds come with instructions on how to sow them. The packaging is professional. The seeds come in a sealed plastic packet. This increases the shelf life of the seeds.Buying seeds on Amazon is usually hit or miss, and in my experience there are more misses than hits! You never know what seed you will receive or if the seeds will be viable. Sellers are usually known to drop rates on old seed packets and offer bulk discounts. Growing plants from seeds requires good viable seeds first and given the correct conditions all seeds will happily germinate. The seller from whom I bought the seeds is Cloudtail India. I will be buying more of the Go Green brand.

Most of the seeds germinated successfully
Seeds are good quality ones. Most, if not all of them have germinated.Remember to use a good potting mixture and keep the soil moist (not wet as it can cause rot issues).Best is to germinate them in a plastic container with the tissue paper method and then transplant the germinated seeds to the pot when the shoots appear.

Keep the soil moist always.
Very good quality seeds n as u can See, almost 80% have germinated N more r germinating every day. The seeds started sprouting within 2-3 days n above photo is after 5 days.Simply add moist normal garden soil in any small pot or gardening tray n sprinkle the seeds on its top. Gently press the seeds so they settle in the moist soil n don't roll around.Make sure u put out the tray in mild sunlight in morning n evening. Keep it indoors during harsh afternoon Sun. At night, be sure to cover it up with the lid or cling wrap. The warmth n moisture helps fast germination. Within 2 days, seeds start sprouting. Once it starts sprouting, gently sprinkle little vermicompost over the soil for extra nutrition.Keep seedlings in sunshine for 2-3 hours n indoors at night. The soil should be moist always. Spray water gently or drop little droplets through ur fingers...Don't let the soil dry.Keep away from sparrows who love tender seedlings.

It is the good one
The media could not be loaded. I am Italian. I use basil in every sauce and in many preparations. Mainly I prepare Italian pesto, which came good.I tried other seeds before, but or it came nothing, or wrong plants. This came up quite fast and without problems. This one is a little costly, because the quantity is really small, but, what to say? Worth it, so now I buy again.

Gets the job done, but expensive, overrared and not best quality.
1. I dint think it had 100 seeds. The seeds obviously by nature for this plant are tiny. And there is noway you can count them. But, its like literally you can hold all seeds between thumb and two fingers.2. Only 40% of the seeds germinated. Rest of them didnt.I felt may be the quality of seeds was not so good. But the price is very high

Good germination, great growth and flavour
I'm a novice gardener, based in Mysore. Planted most in a pot so I cd keep it protected and some direct in a raised bed. The ones in the bed, got pouring rain over days, but both germinated well, see pics after 3 weeks. Am delighted! Will plant the potted seedlings out seperately, in another week or so..fingers crossed 🙂. UPDATE, Oct 2020..started harvesting from Sep, fantastic. Both the transplants and the remaining potted ones have done well. Use neem spray as they get pests some times..they love good watering and the sun. Having pesto every week and gifting harvest to friends too!
