The cooling water outlet cap ( black color) within which the pipe outlet is embedded
I purchased this water cooler long back, in 2019. All these years, I thought, the cooler is perfectly working, until, I'd to get it opened yesterday, doubting about its cooling effect. To my utter horror I realized that, the coolant water outlet at the top of the tower, which distributes water to the filter, is IN SEALED condition, i.e. plastic mold layer, (like electrical switches socket for screws which are normally closed and you need to open it with screw driver). is in absolute sealed condition!!!!! How the water can get distributed at the top? Only mistake I did today is that, I didn't click its photo, before opening the outlet with a screwdriver. Such blunders are not at all acceptable. All these 5-6 years, I was kept completely under dark that, such things can also happen, in spite of so called quality checks. After opening the factory seal of the coolant water exhaust (its a plastic mold leftover, which should've been removed while assembling), which is located below one black cover (so, it just cannot be identified even. It can be observed in the attached photos) I realized the blunder by the manufacturer. This is simply not acceptable. No person on earth can ever find out such gross manufacturing mistakes, as, the cooler was very much working, but only without water getting sprinkled through the cooler tower filter, which gives cooling effect. Now, after opening the plastic mold leftover cover of the cooling pipe outlet, right inside the top cover, water started flowing. How can anyone come to know about this? However, this should've been checked during quality inspection. Now, the water is flowing perfectly, after replacing the pump and opening the plastic outlet pipe properly, and we are getting perfect cooling effect. I'm giving 4* because the product is good, however, it was sent without proper quality checks which resulted in this agonizing 6 years of its usage. As can be seen from the photos attached, I'd never seen water coming out at the top, get distributed equally across the filter and go down through that! I saw that, for the first time today, as can been seen from photo, where water is seen flowing (after getting it repaired by paying 1000/- ). I expect some response from SYMPHONY maintenance / quality check team regarding this gross blunder.

Terrible cooling
Terri le product. Doesn't cool beyond a few meters and the cooling is only from one half of the cooler. There's no way to return the product either

Lousy engineering
I've had this cooler for a year now. It's an OK product, but not something I would recommend. On the positive side, it cools well enough, and it's cheap. On the negative side:1. It's a pain to clean. My locality is quite dusty, and naturally, the cooler collects a fair bit of it and makes a scummy layer at the bottom. That's not the cooler's fault. To get to the bottom, we have to remove some 20-odd screws from the rear (I forgot the exact number) and scrub the bottom. Except that the pipe that connects the water pump and the honeycomb pads is not easy to remove. I have let it be. With the rear hanging out, the cooler becomes cumbersome to manoeuvre and scrub. There's a plug to drain the wash water, so that helps a bit. An easier sliding mechanism would have helped.2. The air outlet is fairly narrow. See the big black area to the front? Only the left half is the air outlet. The right half is coloured black only to fool us.3. It's a pain to fill the cooler. We can pour water at two inlets, but in both cases, water has to be poured very slowly. Couldn't they have provided a pipe inlet or a chute to make things faster? While you're filling water from the rear, the water level indicator is to the front, and needs a good amount of light to see. More often than not, the water ends up overflowing. There's a spout to the rear to let out the excess water, but it doesn't jut out far enough to keep a mug to collect the water. You see, the spout is in a recessed region of the rear, and a container you might use to collect the water will interfere with the corner wall. It's hard to explain without pictures, but the basic idea is that they have not made it convenient to collect the excess water. Making the spout about 5cm long wouldn't have cost them much, and made our lives so much easier. But no, it's obvious they did not test the usability of the product at all.4. I have a 12 litre cooler. How long does 12 litres of water last in this cooler? Customers are expected to figure it out for themselves. FYI, it lasts for about half a night. Granted, how long the water lasts depends on the humidity of the incoming air, but it's straightforward for the company to test the cooler in dry conditions and publish some reference numbers. That way, customers won't buy the 12-litre one only to later wish they had bought a larger one instead.
