Mine arrived with a crimp about 3” long on one side; between that and the overall flimsiness of the plastic made it impossible for me to get it to lay flat on my furniture piece no matter how much tape I used to try to flatten it out. It always stood away from the furniture at least an 1/8” of an inch. So spray painting my design on was out of the picture. I had to painstakingly trace the pattern on with a pencil, then paint with a small brush freehand. So quite labor intensive! If you want this to lay flat you’ll need to use a spray on tacky adhesive, then hope you can remove the adhesive when you’re done.
