Seems to be pretty effective.
Though I love and occasionally feed the kitties in my neighborhood, I consider myself an animal lover though not a pet owner. So when things started getting out of hand under my carport and started becoming more of a nuisance, I needed a humane way to restore order and this product seemed to work for me. So it’s my belief that if this works under a carport it should do just as well indoors.

Minty smell, can’t say it deters my cat from clawing
I’m sad to say I don’t think this cat deterrent spray is working much for my cat who has a clawing problem with my dining room table chairs. I was happy that this product seemed to be a good value and very hopeful that this might solve my problems. While the product wasn’t very. expensive, I can’t say that it worked to repel my cat. He did not seem to mind the smell and has continued clawing my furniture. I will continue to use this spray several times a day in the hopes that it will begin to work, but at this point, it is not. There are other customers that claim that this product has worked for them, and I think that is great because it does have some positive qualities such as the price, how easy it sprays out of the nozzle, and the fact that it does not stain fabric or smell bad to humans. It is more of a, minty smell and not offensive to me at all which is a huge bonus because I wouldn’t be able to use it at all if it stunk. I’m going to keep using until the bottle is empty because I am so desperate and I will report back if it does start working for my cat

So far, so good!
I like that this is plant safe. I also like that the smell to humans isn't awful. So far, I combined it with sticky strips to keep a curious kitten away from plants and it is working. The downside to this is that you need to be vigilant about spraying the item or area, but hopefully with a combined approach, I will get the cat to ignore the plants and using this spray will be a short term problem.

Have to spray every other day
I have cats that are chewers. Specifically, on the string on my curtain shades. I had to replace them so many times so I decided to try this spray. Overall, it is pretty good and the smell isn't abhorrent. They haven’t chewed on them since but I do have to spray every other day.

So far so good. Kitty no longer tearing up rug.
Our adult granddaughter's playful young kitten has been having a royal time with our rugs. He has destroyed a few throw rugs as he loves to get his claws in and roll around. But when he started getting his claws on our large tan oval living room rug, that was it. I didn't really think this spray would work but it has so far been great. Sprayed the rug once, before we went away for a week and was very pleased to find it untouched when we return. A short time later, we had to leave again and I gave it another good spray. Result after several days away was just as good. At this point I will probably spray it about once each month and see how it goes, but so far, couldn't be more pleased.

Not quite what it seems
I figured this was going to be what it says. Spray something with it, like the arm of a couch, to keep your cat from scratching it. What this actually is is a behavior modification spray. It is meant to be sprayed in the air to keep your aminal in order while it is trained on what to do and not to do. The smell is not unpleasant, but it doesn't solve any immediate problems. It just has the promise of better behavior down the road.
