Ford Escort MkII Fine Art Print Developed jointly with Ford of Germany, the semi-Brit Escort carried on its predecessor’s legacy by offering everything from the base-spec 1.1 litre version to the powerful RS2000 road-racer. The latter is memorable for its slanty polyurethane nosecone but the Mark II is at its most iconic in flat-fronted format. The ‘L’ and ‘GL’ models (2-door, 4-door, estate) were in the mainstream private sector, the ‘Sport’, ‘RS Mexico’, and ‘RS2000’ in the performance market, the ‘Ghia’ (2-door, 4-door) for a hitherto untapped small car luxury market and ‘Popular’ models for the bottom end. Taken from original artwork by Kenneth C. Wisdom and printed on thick 230gsm paper it is suitable for framing with a mount or without. Published exclusively by Golden Era. Part of a range of 500+ items. We are offering this fine art print in mint, unissued condition (wrapped in cellophane).
