Absolutely love this product which I will be using on road trips. Compact and easy to set up. Turned my car screen into a smart TV with all my apps downloaded onto the firestick. I can watch pretty much anything. Would recommend and would buy again. Delivery was pretty quick price was discounted when I purchased it

Works as expected. It worked fine with my Fire Stick and Google TV. For the price I would expect this to also have wireless CarPlay to switch between the HDMI and my phone’s CarPlay, or I’ll just use my Wireless CarPlay AI box. Overall this works as described and as intended, USB to HDMI.

I wanted to love this product. But the latency on audio makes it unbearable to watch anything. Even when trying to adjust the streaming device to offset it, its not even close to enough. Id say a solid 300-500ms delay. Returned the item for a refund. That and it also took 18 days to arrive after order was placed. I'm guessing just another cheap, rebranded, overseas product.

Using this in my 2024 Tahoe, and the frame rate is horrible on it and there is about a half second delay in audio. Not impressed at all. Using with a Chromecast Google TV.

This convertor is great for playing videos on your in dash screen (obviously while your car isn't in motion) to keep your kids occupied. You can watch all of the streaming services and the video is pretty clear without pixelation. There is some audio lag but its not too bad.

Short, Sweet, Simple and to the point review. This is not able to use screen cast or media share with iPhone which is unfortunately what I was hoping it would do. This product does work however it takes quite a bit of different cords for it to work. An HDMI dongle for iPhone, separate HDMI cord, then this product along with the cord that goes into the vehicle. It takes a lot for this to run but it does work well. The picture quality is nowhere near as good as a cellphone or tablet but for it using the touchscreen on my dash it's pretty decent. I personally wouldn't seek another product like this but that's just my preference.

No me gustó el producto por qué no vienen claras las especificaciones no dice si únicamente es para apple o para Android nunca pude conectarlo y eso que seguí todas las instrucciones nunca lo pude vincular con Android además que no hay algún vídeo o tutorial que te guíe para poderlo instalar con cualquier sistema solo podría decir que funciona para sistema apple.

The OTTOCAST Car TV Mate is a great device for adding streaming options to my car's display. I used it with my Google TV, and it worked seamlessly. It’s truly plug-and-play, with no noticeable lag. A solid choice for upgrading in-car entertainment systems!

This product works as expected and was fairly easy to get setup. I installed the product on a 2022 WRX and it worked woth no issues.The video streaming box requires a streaming dongle to connect. I used a Chromecast and firestick of which both worked equally as well.The video quality was low bit rate and even with a strong 4G or 5G connection you have some buffering.The experience strongly depends on your vehicles screen size ad resolution where the larger and higher resolution provides a better experience.Overall a good product that does what it states however is not the same experience as sitting at a computer, TV or high end mobile device.

Really cool device that allows me to now use my FireTV to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube or any of my favorite shows on streaming apps while I wait for people or appointments!It was quite easy to setup and I'm still working on the best setup to limit all the cables and boxes by trying to get them out of the way of the middle console but with enough cable organizers and sticky tabs to route its already looking really nice.The device itself nice a really nice image and looks pretty much like my Fire Stick does in our TV.Massive upgrade to my car and sooo much better then watching all of this on my phone with it positioned over the steering wheel with phone audio.
