Size down, for sure. I wear a 9 consistently, ordered an 8.5 based on other reviews. These are at least half a size too big. They're also wide. First impression on fit: if sized right I think they'll feel like socks. Lightweight and well made. Will re-order an 8 to check sizing and will report back.

Wore these for an island trip that was filled with sand, sea, and crushed coral... They were very comfortable and quick drying. I didn't realize how nice the quick dry would be until I noticed that my daughter's shoes from another brand were still cold and wet while mine were nice and dry.

I only give 4 star because of the size guide is awful. I measured my feet and ordered right size according to their size guide but it was way too big and I returned and ordered my actual size it was still big but I had no time to return or deal with it since I was leaving for a trip. My actual size is 7 or 7.5 but this didn’t fit well for my size I would probably wear 6 or 6.5 depending on the product.. for it’s price it is not bad at all. It is very thin on the bottom you feel the earth. I like the color and design.
