In the year 2025, I applied Griot’s Garage Glass Sealant to my windshield. Within seconds, I was no longer driving a car — I was piloting a spacecraft through Earth's atmosphere with a deflector shield set to max. Rain? Irrelevant. Water molecules make contact and immediately lose the will to stick. It’s like the glass is coated in alien tech from a galaxy where water simply isn’t allowed. Even at low speeds, droplets scatter like they just got hit with a plasma cannon. Above 40 mph? You barely need wipers — the water jumps off in terror. Application was easy — wipe on, buff off — like activating cloaking mode on a starcruiser. And it leaves your glass so slick, you half expect it to teleport bugs off the windshield before they even land. I’ve used a lot of water repellents before, but this one? This is different. First off, impressed with this. I put it on close to 2 months ago and it still going fairly strong. It's definitely less effective than initial application, obviously, but it's clearly still working. So that's promising. I live in upstate NY and didn't see much rain, but have seen dramatic temperature changes. Which brings me to my reasoning for 4 stars... It doesn't prevent ice buildup as it states it does. Not at all. I thought that'd be nice for over winter application, but it doesn't seem like it will help much with that. It also does not prevent fogging, but it never claimed to do that anyway. Overall, I'd probably buy again. Application took about 15 minutes, so it's nice and easy. I applied it to my rear view camera, rear windshield, front windshield, and side mirrors. Only noticeable difference was on the front and rear windshields, occasionally noticing a difference after several minutes of driving with the rest.

Works better than RainX, if you travel in rainy or snowy weather, I recommend this product hands down.

I've always used aquapel, never cared for Rain-X. The Griots Garage glass sealant has definitely earned a place in my garage. My glass beads beautifully and the snow slides off my LED lights. The attached pictures of my lights are after 2 days of 80 mile round trips to work in heavy wet snow with heavily salted roads and they still look as clean as when I applied the sealant. I can't say the same for the rest of the rig though. Without treatment, I'd need to stop halfway to brush the snow off my lights or I couldn't see, not anymore.

Been using original Rain X for almost 20 years. Tried this as it's touted as longer lasting. While it was crazy easy to apply and buff off, it didn't last more than a week of water beading on my windshield. Side windows it does work amazingly well so I will at least finish the bottle. I put Rain X over top of this and the windshield is back to where it should be. I love Griots products and towels but this is a swing and a miss.

Product works like how RainX used to be when they first came out. I used to do 1 application every 3-4 months and I'd be good. Now It's every few weeks. This brings back the quality of rain repellent. I haven't used my wipers for anything other than cleaning for a long time. Side note: Amazon has gotten terrible with handling. This is the third liquid product in a row that's been leaking and damaged packaging inside a fully intact shipping box. I'll pour this one in a spray bottle to keep it from evaporating.

Applied in three coats on all glass. Amazing product which virtually eliminates the need for wipers in rain - because water sheets off so well. Applied to my three German vehicles. My new goto for glass

Works great, beads water really nicely, easy to apply, we will how long it lasts. Overall very satisfied . Btw I Haagen done 3 winsheild and 2 back windows and I'm not quite half way through the bottle, it goes a fair bit.

It’s the second bottle I buy. A bottle like this lasts 2 to 3 years, and maybe more, if you apply a layer of wax on the windshield and the rear window every 6 months. It’s easy to do with a microfiber cloth and cheaper than Aquapel. This wax is long to dry compare to car wax. Apply 2 thin layers from left to right and from top to bottom of the glass. Let it dry at least one hour and then, wipe it. You won’t have streaks.

Fantastic sealant. Don't need much and it creates a barrier that repels dirt water, ice like no other product ive used. Doesn't leave any film that glares at night like rainX.
